I’m not sure about your relationship with the shop you took it to, but I have a hard time believing your rotors need replaced after 21k.

As requested. For some reason I thought the oil filter cover would be a flush fit but it isn’t. Oh well.C44EB024-7DF2-4250-8119-591CEBB5226D.jpg

My lady whipped up some flag stickers for me, now that I look at the pic I think I put it on a little crooked, oh well, good enough.

there’s one on the other side as well, just mirrored so it’s stars forward

Dude our trucks eat pads and rotors like Pac-Man eats dots. Plus most of us members drive like assholes too.

Plus, less and less vendors are willing to turn rotors nowadays, at least in my neck of the woods.

4 hour drive yesterday, averaged 16.1 mpg setting cruise at 73 vs my usual 13 mpg setting cruise at 79. So cost 24 minutes and saved $18

Hearing my wife say "16 mpg isn't bad for this beast" ...Priceless

Hahaha. Really? Well crap. My only long term experience with Toyota is my T4R. It’s got 106k and zero issues with the factory rotors. I assumed the Tundra would be the same.

I'm over 27k miles, and my pads and rotors still look new. When it comes to brake life, a lot of it is due to how hard you are on them.

Agreed on the brakes, I'm pretty conservative driving, like only about 5 over. At 53k, brakes are getting about ready to change...probably do it at 60k. And that's with a few thousand miles pulling a 19 ft. Travel trailer, and I'll occasionally load the bed pretty full.

Truck looks great. But you don’t have to dry before you decon. I make sure the truck is misty wet during the whole process.

I know. They will collect dust and dirt. :crapstorm:

Just have not seen anyone talk about them on the forum. Everyone has discussed the center console organizer but just not how to better organize that long storage tray on the outside. I know my pins slide back and forth along with everything else in the tray.

Was just checking them out. Looks like the plate only covers the front cats. I put a call in to them just to verify. It does look real nice though.

Dropped the spotter mirrors in as is. Didn’t wire the turns signals at the moment. I like them and will update once I wire the turn signals

*mirror placement is not in final position*

will be adding puddles and front facing turn signals / running light as well. One or the other, haven’t decided yet. Maybe both? I’ll see how it goes once I start :sawzall:

You will have to tap into the wires but they are at the connector. I did it with my Muth signal mirrors on my 2020 SR5.

37x12.50r17. Discount tire direct had 6 in stock. I’ve been checking every few days for the last couple weeks. Originally looked at bfgs since I knew Mickeys were hard to find until they popped up today. Shipped out today should be at my house Thursday.
