    Updated: 2/24/23

So I know a lot of us are really excited to get a true suspension lift under our trucks and I thought a Mega Thread might be helpful. I wanted to compile a list of complete suspension lift kits and create a space that we can keep updated as kits & components hit the market.

2/23/23 Note: Thanks to @mmasse for the heads up. Elka has released their suspension lift components for the 3rd Gen. Check it out here: https://www.elkasuspension.com/prod...ta-trucks/tundra_2022_to_2023/?c=72e1ba2726d6

6/10 Note: I know I've seen some King & Fox (maybe) front components floating around in various "influencer" posts. Feel free to drop any info on P/Ns or links below and I'll add them to the list.

Here are the true suspension lift kits & parts that I am aware on the market right now. I'll update this list as people mention kits hitting the market. Also, I'll break this down into 2 categories:
    • Complete Kits - I.E. Kits from a single manufacturer
    • Ala Carte Components - I.E. Suspension components that an be pieced together from different manufacturers to create a full suspension lift.
Complete Kits - as of 6/13/22:

Side note...I called it a "Mega Thread" because I have high hopes and I'm really optimistic.

If this thread dies a slow death, I'll remove that from the title.

I ordered the ICON kit just need to find better springs. Also Eibach said they're coming out with something very soon.

Brad, this is a great idea and you have already done a wealth of "homework"....not trying to be picky, but it may be helpful to designate if the suspension lift can support AVS/Air Bag options or a replacement to the airbags. Personally I went with my truck with the airbags because it was what was available on short notice....I don't tow much so I would be more than happy to "delete" the bags for a full suspension upgrade in time.

Yes…I was thinking about this and where it would fit in the thread.

It’s diff manufacturers parts but put together/provided by a single outfitter (so the end user doesn’t have to assemble) correct?

So is there a hybrid section for something such as this?

Also…Pro comp is the brand owned by 4 wheel pets right?

Yeah, I struggled with them because of that. From my understanding, they’re just doing what we are here and piecing together components from various places to make a complete kit. There’s not lot of info on their site except a price range, what the kit can include, and to contact them for a quote. I guess my intent was give people the power to do the same thing, so I opted to not include them for that reason. I actually got the idea for this part list after contacting a similar shop here in Nevada looking to piece together a complete suspension lift.

    Kind of.

Transamerican Auto Parts (TAP) owns 4WP, Pro Comp, Rubicon Express, SmittyBuilt, G2 Axle & Gears, LRG Wheels, and a few other brands.

The parts brands (Pro Comp, Smitty, Rubicon Express, etc) are actually individual companies that are owned by TAP. That’s why you can buy those products from retailers outside of just 4WP stores.

TAP’s HQ is in Compton, CA while 4WP has it’s HQ in Ohio, as I recall. They’re all individual subsidiaries that are run separately but all owned by TAP.

So people have the info. Here’s what was on my quote from the adventure motors kit. I priced it out on my own and it was cheaper than what they were offering it for. I think they modify the front coilovers to work with the 2022 platform, which definitely will bring that price up and props
To them for figuring it out. All this minus the bump stops and minus the UCAs was about $4k with tax.

They are having the fox shocks tuned for the tundra and adding their own mounts, so definitely some special treatment. The sway bar links are custom made in house.

I can tell you coming from Icon Cdcv’s on my last tundra that this set up rides amazing, much stiffer than stock (I have HD springs for front and rear bumpers + topper + decked system), but it handles incredibly well plus the communication, knowledge and customer service at AMKC is absolutely top notch- 100000% would recommend.

There's a guy that is running a Radflo remote reservoir coilover setup for the 3rd Gen with (what looks like) Eibach springs. He's also running the TC UCAs. There's no info on Radflo's website quite yet. I'll add it to the list when they release more info.

I came across his YouTube while researching more suspension options for this list. Anyone run across him on the forum? I feel like I've seen this truck posted before.

Here's his video if anyone wants to check it out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V20UHWl6JEA

That's a good idea. I'll see if I can pick through the rear components today and notate any info on AVS compatibility.

Nice. I'll add that to the list. Still can't find any info on the rear Radflo RR Shock P/N.

Side note: It's kinda weird when manufacturers release product info to vendors (like Vivid) without updating their own website. I tend to rely so much more on the actual manufacturer's website for specs vs a vendor's website. Mainly, since the amount of technical info listed on a vendor's website varies so much.

That happens. As dealers we’ll get SKU lists often times ahead of public releases. Sometimes they come in under an embargo of sorts and we’re not supposed to make listings live, but some places still will. That and some OEMs just aren’t good on updating their website.

Also, I just stumbled across this thread. Once I get some time I’ll circle back around and fill any missing or update info that I spot. :)

Agreed. I have noticed this a lot.

If I had a horse in the race I would get the TRD factory lift kit. Yeah, they're more expensive than aftermarket but they work without flaws. Everything is tuned for the Yota. Nice package with extended brake lines, coils, extended front axles, UCA, LCA.

Honestly, you're not wrong. I don't know that I would even call it "more expensive" considering how much more you get.

This is no knock on places like Adventure Motors. They forged the way and deserve a ton of credit. However, for the same price you can get the OEM kit that includes so many more suspension components. The extended front axles alone are probably worth $500 to $750 by themselves. Toyota's kit is basically replacing 80-90% of front suspension with all new components designed specifically for extended travel. That also explains why the estimated installation labor of the OEM kit essentially doubles the price.

However, component for component when you compare the price of the OEM kit to the kits being pieced together in the aftermarket...it's starting to look like a hell of a deal.

The only real letdown that I see with the OEM kit is their use of spacers in the rear. Seems like they could've just as easily outsourced HD springs and swapped in new rear springs vs just slapping in spacers.

Hey @KroppDuster we just got an email over here from Icon with a full breakdown of their upcoming Stages 1-10. I can peel out the pricing sheets and furnish you with it if you'd like to tackle it? Or I can just take throw everything up here when I get a chance later this week. :notsure:

the biggest issue with Toyota’s OEM kit is it uses bilstein 5100 shocks from my understanding… pretty much the lowest end you can go in the aftermarket lift space. Sub in legit coil overs and installation and the TRD kit will be crazy expensive

I am thinking around $2K for the TRD installation.

Maybe…just maybe (depending on what Bilstein put out there) TRD May have more aggressive offerings later also?

Here’s a the individual king components I just bought, same ones in that kit linked above with a looooong lead time. I Didn’t purchase from this vendor but they have installation instructions for the front and rear which may be useful for people when are looking to see what they need do when installing front/rear shocks.
    King fronts KRS-25001-396 https://accutuneoffroad.com/product/king-2022-toyota-tundra-2-5-front-coilover-kit/
    King rears KRS-25001-397

Just got my lift installed today.

    Pro Comp coilovers up front
Rough Country UCA because they align better than the Pro Comps
Dobinson 2.5” rear spring with Pro Comp spacer on top
    Dobinson adjustable Pan Hard bar
    Dobinson IMS shocks
    Rough Country diff drop
Rough Country brake line brackets for the rear
    Rough Country skid plate

Cranked the Pro Comps about 3 turns high than stock, so around 4” lift in the front and about 3.5” in the rear.
