For those that have SPC UCA what grease do you use on the boot? Mine are squeaking like crazy so its time to grease them up. (Should have went with uniball, less rubber=less squeaking)

Have you used lubriplate 3000 or 3002?

I have not. I am still on the stock UCA, but I have used the lucas on UCA and suspension components on previous vehicles. I also use it for greasing trailer bearings.

    Not sure at this point.
You have to use what their recommendations are.

I used the Valvoline Moly 3% when I installed the SPC UCA.

Did you grease them when you installed them? Suppose to grease every oil change.

The best NGLI 2 grease I've ever used with a 5% moly content is Schaeffers 238. It's the tackiest grease I've ever come across (other than prothane ngli 3 or energy suspension grease, different application for those those)

The 238 isn't good for high speed bearings, but for ball joints, etc, it's unbelievably good. Give it a Google. People on Bitog love the stuff.

I didnt the fist oil change i did the second. According to spc they claim there is no need to grease for the life of the joint which is why i went with them over camburg or total chaos.

Not sure where they posted that, but those sealed ball joints should be greased or checked every oil change. Doesn’t hurt though, regardless it’s a moving part.

They usually have it there, but it's pricey. You can search for a Schaeffers Rep near you. They get way better deals and sometimes give you freebies of different stuff.

Thanks for the recommendation. It solved 85 to 90% of the squeaks. It still squeaks over big dips and speed bumps but it doesnt on the small things like pulling out of my driveway anymore.

Glad it worked out for you

Maybe it will work its way around and get rid of the squeaking completely! How long have you had ran it with that grease?
