Winsor ruins (check out Google images ) near Port Gibson MS on the river , you could watch the river from the roof . Burned down during a party ( cigar in a trash can) in 1889.

How old are you if you were on the roof in 1889? 128 + years old

Interesting to know, is there a "party crowd" there ruining the tranquility of the spot or is it just in a dilapidated state?

@kenomouth64 its a state historical site , you can come during daytime and walk around . The family turned the house site over to the state in 74.
