    Not sure at this point.
Damn, same with me. Just swamped and picked up a few gigs to earn some extra cash lately. My truck has been sitting and collecting cobwebs + pollen.

Installed my 100 dollar n-fab side steps. Looks a little odd to me on a stock truck, but soon my new rims and tires and 5100 lift will be installed and it should complement the truck nicely

Got tired of being blinded while driving, so I did a little de-chroming on the center console. Scuffed it up and sprayed it with flat black spray paint. Came out decent, we'll see how it holds up.

Also 3d printed a cup holder reducer so it holds a can snugly.

Well I go to install the fender flares and come across this! RealTruck contacts BUSHWACKER and are told there are no spare parts for the fender flares! These 2 very important parts are missing.

Took the plunge and Installed my Baxter Performance Spin on Cartridge Adapter! Pricy but worth the $285 and no longer have a messy oil change between this and my Fumoto Valve! Going go be using a spin on D3 Toyota Filter from here on out!!! Plus now there will be more oil in the engine on startup since the spin on filter has a backflow valve unlike the cartridge filters!

    20220602_080726.jpg

Comparison between the D3 and the canister filter. The D3 is a tad shorter but little more diameter so that makes up for the length so they are damn close to the same size when it comes to filtering your oil! I've ran toyota G2s on my tacoma for 6 years and 96k and never had any issues with them, toyota definitely makes quality filters!

    20220602_075054.jpg

And in case anyone is wondering the gap between your sway bar and this filter is plenty! Between 1/2-3/4".

Go on Amazon and search for "Metal U clip"
Thats the clips you will need, just measure the screw size so you know what size clip to get.Screenshot 2022-06-02 081432.jpg

Yea I did just that. I just think it’s crazy that “no spare parts” are available for their products after spending $650.

Enjoying this base level rig already more than I thought I would.
    2019 SR DC 4x2, 40k Miles
After the first week now with the truck, the mods list grows daily. (I blame/thank everyone here for that!)
Any help on the following as I keep searching the threads greatly appreciated!

    - LED headlight bulbs; I'll do a full TRD headlight housing switch down the road. But for just bulbs, what seems to be working best on stock reflector and harnesses?

    - Seat Mount Upgrade; Just have manual adjust seating. I swear I saw an add-on that elevates the seat mount a bit. Name and place to purchase?

    - Oil and Filters; What is working best on these rigs? (This was a BIG priority on my Rams to avoid lifter failure...let's not go there for now. I avoided any issues but it was a roll of the dice on those Hemi's.)

    - What do I need to look at more closely on the truck w 40k miles on it when purchased? Weak spots include...?

Thanks all! Hope I can return some knowledge in kind.

Wouldnt this be messier than using a drain hose on the stock cartridge style before taking it out? Every other vehicle I have changed the oil on with a spin on always leaks out the sides when you start to unthread it.

Never really had much come out of the one on my Tacoma, Typically just put a shop rag in my hand when I twist it off and never made a mess in my 20 changes on that truck! Plus the main benefit here of the spin on is the bakflow valve in the filter to help keep more oil in the engine on startup.

    Nice looking truck

For the seat mounts, you might be referring to the Desert Does It seat jackers, they sell them for the front and rear mounting locations of the front seats.

Genuine Toyota 90915-YZZD3 Oil Filter is the part number, you can get them anywhere, Amazon, Ebay or just about anywhere. You can grab one from your local Toyota dealer too just go to the parts department and tell them you need a D3 filter and they will give you what you need. I got one from the dealer and it was $5.63 here in PA.

Lol. Better than rubbing through the paint. The flares tore my 2013 up pretty good. My truck is at the shop as we speak for PPF on the headlights.

I really like mine too, I just put them on the front of the drivers seat. I asked my other half if she minded if I installed them on the passenger seat and she said absolutely not. She is all of 5'2" and can barely touch the floor as it is... or so she says. Also, gave me a good mounting spot for a fire extinguisher bracket.

For the headlights I'd check and make sure you weren't affected by the headlight harness recall. Or it was fixed. Before I did anything to the headlights.

For raising the seat look into seat jackers by desert does it as they are regarded highly (I just purchased some at the recommendations of this site)

For the oil filter oem from Toyota are usually cheap and work well although some others do add or modify their oil filtration.

As a wonderful warning. This forum is great for introducing you to countless products and devices you never knew you needed. And with the aftermarket support Toyota has worldwide there is a huge amount of specialized and custom parts out there. They will make you feel good and your wallet lighter.
