The only issue is that the instructions suck. There is a video on their website but it is for a corolla. Oddly enough it does actually help though. Very similar construction.

It's easy enough to figure out from there.

If you run into any issues, let me know, I'll walk you through it.

Yeah it's Plastidip over the regular chrome. Been there for at least 18 months. Plastidip is a type of wrap, it's just easier to apply because it sprays on. It peels off when it's done, but it'll last as long as a wrap.

Yeah, I’ve used plastidip a lot. I have my badges plastidiped right now. I wonder how the white would compare to the super white paint.

did you do anything to prep the chrome? Like rough it with sandpaper?

No, just Plastidip. I don't think the colors and sheen would match close enough (hence the black bumpers and not a matching color).

Haven't had the heart to do anything this year. Got my cats stolen. Replaced + shield. Then mother nature said eff you and threw down hail.

    Here's a photo after a fresh mow.

Plastidip the rear bumper the other night. Took about two hours to mask and paint. Still on the fence about the black. May try white and see what it looks like. 2E4FBB3D-4D66-4871-B6F4-3FA8ED957146.jpg

I installed a pop&lock kit to lock/unlock the tailgate with all doors (second tap of fob). Pretty nicely thought out kit as far as wiring and hardware. Though the instructions are shit, and the polarity of their harness was reversed. Used a layer of dynamat(ish) stuff inside the tailgate and the operation of the lock is just as quiet as the rest of the factory locks, so I'm happy.

Also performed the rear differential breather relocation to behind the driver taillight while I was crawling around underneath.

Thanks! Since I got it, about 4 years ago, I have only seen 3 or 4 this color...which makes it even better!

Nothing I did, but something I found out. If you insert your key into the door lock and hold it in lock, the sunroof will close if it’s open.

If it’s closed you can put the key in the door lock and hold it to the unlock position and it will open it.

I tried to see if the windows would at least go down, but this only operates the sunroof.

i tried to find a “I was today years old when” forum but didn’t find one. Sorry if this has been mentioned before.

Gas jumped another $.20 yesterday, that’s $.40 in 7 days. Still has another $.15 to go to catch up with gas futures from last week.
