Unfortunately I will be getting ready for the 4th being down here instead of back home. My parents send us Canada stuff though. Got some Canada flags and stickers for my triplets' bikes haha!

Also put this on the Tundra...

We're gonna take the boys to the local fireworks show - they're old enough now to stay up that late. Might as well for the 150th! Some trout fishing might be in order too.
Other than that, no big plans, at least not yet.

    Hey!

We'll be heading to Arrowhead Provincial Park Saturday morning to take in 2 nights of camping. Hoping to get in some fishing and just hanging out with my kids, wife and dogs.
Might drive into Huntsville to take in a fireworks show, but the dogs are usually pretty frightened, so we'll probably go on a night hike and just take in the RnR.

Yeah I figure between the sound and the smell of the explosions it isn't an enjoyable time... so I want everyone in the family to be as happy as possible.

I was supposed to be going on a nice 4 day canoe trip, but due to high rivers we have canceled that and are just going to go camping and spend some time out in the lovely wilderness that Canada has to offer!

Mon francais est tres terrible, mais je comprends la langue en encris beaucoup mieux. I probably sounded like a 4 year old learning French...

:( Wish I knew more French... or any French on that note.

The benefits of multiple languages was poorly stressed upon through school.
They really need to focus on that more.

I've tried to explain the importance to my kids and so far my oldest Son who is learning it in school is achieving high grades, so I hope that continues.

I hear you there. Great idea on your part. I took French from JK to OAC and I wish my parents would have stressed to me to take it more seriously. Although the fact that ALL of their parents that were actually French and my parents lost the ability to speak it at their level says something...

Just a spot along the river between Drayton Valley and Rocky Mountain House. It would have been one of our stops along the canoe trip so we are just quading in there now and hanging out! Should be a good time!
