I'm certain I just heard the unmistakable sound of BRRRTTTT and then some splosions over the hill outside BG.

One burst. No doubt in my mind.

Not somebody running a welding bead or jake-breaking?

I mean, I had some burritos for lunch and I'm a little windy, but I doubt you're hearing all this noise over there. Hopefully not smelling it either. Oldest kid is regretting staying home sick today.

Looks like 3 position but my only hang up is the possible lose of adjustability. If I can get +4 caster, oem specs on everything else and have these so I’ll never lose the alignment, I’m sold. But I’m not sure it’ll pan out that way.

Master alignment guru @assassin10000 any insight or thoughts?

Looks like they did pretty good, drives nice.
The tech seemed real knowledgeable and I talked to him when I picked it up; he said right front adjuster was siezed and the bushing was starting to tare so he didn’t want to force anything.
So now I guess I’ll be on a slow search to find new lowers to press bushings into maybe…. 0233169A-AAF3-449F-B21A-B0C15B735424.jpg

I sent my lowers to a buddy on here. But, just get the moogs and you will be good IMO. No pressing bushings or any of that. Amazon has them.

What really interests me is that if you can run those and get the alignment you are happy with, greasing the Solos should be easier without losing alignment. I'm squeaking on all four corners at the moment.

@des2mtn ’s alignment guy said to get my ass up before I waste his time. Probably good advice. So I will limp along back to Jason’s and wait for Deaver to re arch.

Today was pretty productive. Only a third of what I hoped to do - but I got the rear legs of the rack locked down. I ran stainless bolts right trough that track and backed them up under the bed rail with backer plates. Now that I have my method, front legs will be fairly easy.

Backer plates are two piece. That poly whatever and 1/4 aluminum

I put these like hidden eye bolts in my bed that thread into a blind socket, almost like a bulkhead, but I didn’t trust the sheet metal, so I did something similar with 1/4 plate 2.5x 6” or so to spread the load. Good thinking. Is the black stuff the hdpe or almost a delrin?

Yeah, I thinks it's HDPE. I bought a sheet when I was going to make bump stop spacers. It is the same material as my Wheeler's spacers and the ones Archive sent me to space my rear u- bolt flip setup. I used it because my bolts are not all-thread and I needed to block the aluminum for fit. But seems like a good marriage.

I also cut pieces to put between my bed side top and the tonneau so when I crank it all down it's solid with no gap anywhere. Hard to explain, but the rack legs are bolted: base, track. tonneau, HDPE spacer, bedside top, HDPE spacer, 1/4 aluminum. For my crazy setup, it's a solid no-gap mount.
