    So My current situation :

I want a low mile tundra and wish I had bought one back in 2020 or 2021 but I don’t have a time machine so gotta live with that . I found a 2020 tundra sr5 TRD OR with 10k miles on it for 47.3k before ttax/title (sticker in 2020 was 49.5k msrp). They are also offering me 3 to 4k more for my Tacoma than all other dealerships I went to. In reality it’s probably worth 22k in normal market and their offering 27k. So a 5k adjustment market wise for my truck. The tundra I am not sure what it would be under normal circumstances to know if I’m making out okay.

My concern is these last low mileage v8s will become a bit more scarce and hard to find in the next few years once this chip shortage is actually done and market corrects itself. Maybe the 2021s haven’t sold yet so there’s a chance to keep some low mileage trucks out there and hope the market adjust the same for trade in value and selling value.

Read a few articles saying the industry expexts a 20-30% decrease in used car prices between Oct 22 and Oct 23.

I think prices in general are up over 45% since COVID. So take today's prices and drop them by 30% and that's what I'd be bargaining for.

Read up, walk into a dealer prepared with the facts. Walk out if and wait if they don't play ball.
