Traveled to VA to visit family. My brother-in-law let me drive his work truck. A 2007 with 205,000 miles on the clock. It is just a pleasure to drive. He hardly babies this thing, tows a work trailer frequently for his tile business. He has always been a Ford guy and bought this a few years ago after I had told him about my experiences with Tundras. He paid $10k for the truck and found these wheels to replace the OEM steelies. Then, new tires, battery, headlights, brakes and a rear wheel bearing. He estimates he has put another $4k into the truck. A sound investment I think.

I bought my 2007 regular cab short bed for $9k February of 2021. It had 215k miles on it but is a 5.7 4x4 rust free truck out of Arizona. I spent 6 months doing a full conversion and have put less than 5k miles on it in the year it’s been done.

Bu far my favorite thing to run around town and drive on the weekends. Unfortunately I have a little more than $14k invested in mine but totally worth it.

Sounds like you and my brother-in-law have identical trucks and investment $. I just couldn't get over how well his handled, rode and had incredible power! I think all that his needs is new padding in the driver's seat. Oh, he did tell me that he replaced the weather stripping for the doors/side windows.
