Brand new 2022 Tundra Limited at the dealer. 23 miles on the ODO. Listen to the video. Such a great, confidencw-inspiring quality sound. If Toyota doesn't care about the quality of things you can obviously see and hear, imagine how bad are the things that you CAN'T see. Utter garbage. No wonder turbos are failing before 500 miles, door locks are failing, etc.

Sounds like a humpback whale out of water. Like I should be hearing Sir DAVID Attenborough narrating over it…

Yawn. If I gave a damn I could upload a video of mine but it would be rather boring. because it doesn't make a sound.

I wonder why the guys that own 22’s dont go on other forums to justify their purchase and shit on older models. Almost like theyre secure with their decision.

Yikes. That'd drive me nuts. I'd hit up the dealership and see what they can do. Could be as simple as somebody forgot to grease the hinge, but if it is due to misalignment or manufacturing errors on the part I'd want to get it rectified.

On seeing the strong response and comparisons to a notorious troll, I decided to check the post history of the OP.... Not an owner. Simply a troll. Wouldn't be surprised if my initial impression that the video is edited was true. I was giving the benefit of the doubt, but the short (less than 5 posts) history that is random venom directed at Toyota makes me regret that.

I just want someone to use the soundtrack for one of those Insta videos that does the funky sound followed by multiple shots of a pimp ride.

They’re too busy getting issues with their trucks sorted out. :boink:

Seriously though. It’s a forum. This thread is kind of ridiculous. I would’ve shot some lubricant on the hinges and not raised a single fuss about it. But really we’re just not used to this amount of “should my new truck be doing this” posts around here.
I thought you guys bought 22s because you couldn’t afford the 2nd gen gas bill.

Yeah, I want to spend a lot of money on a truck that sucks. It will boost my retirement income.

This thread is going to be fun.

I’ve truly never understood this naïve logic.

So, a bunch of guys spending tens of thousands of dollars on aftermarket accessories for their vehicles are poor because they don’t have this years model.

    Wow!
    You can finance a vehicle.

    Welcome to being an adult.
    Congratulations.

People raised concerns about the truck I bought. How should I handle this? Hmmmm... not with a reasoned and thought out counter point to criticism/opinions about the truck... Why bother? The peasants wouldn't understand anyway. They must all be financially incapable youths.
