    Hey Gang,
I found a set of 17X8.5 0 offset Raceline Aero’s in machined finish I want to purchase but I am worried about the amount of poke I will get by choosing these. I have fender flares and will run 35’s with this rim. Does anyone have a photo of 0 offset wheels with fender flares your willing to share. My truck below with photo of wheel I am considering. Truck has a 6” ProComp lift. Going for that classic 80’s ish look.

I have a 0 offset with 285/70's and my tires are flush with the outer edge of the Bushwacker flares.

You could just do the math..

What is your current offset? Offset is measured in MM. If your current offset is, for example, +12 (~1/2"), then you can just use a ruler or tape to see where the new wheels would sit.. Pretty straightforward.

Here is what 35's with +12mm offset looks like on a truck with flares. No poke. 0 offset will be out another 1/2".

I had the same concern but I looked at @Tundra234 truck and liked the result. I followed his lead. I have 0 offset with 315/70R17 tires and fender flares. The tire tread is pretty much flush.

So I’ve concluded that +0 and the associated poke looks different depending on the width of the rim. Is that a correct statement?

Yep. Width of tire will make a difference. Here are a couple of offset calculators. They will show you the difference between a stock set up and the custom tire width and offset rim.

Weird ... you got less poke with more offset than I had with +18 and 295s (Method Roost 20x9) ... which stuck out about 1.25"

My tire side wall and the fender flare sticks out about 1.75 from the stock fender. The outer side wall sits out a little more than 3 inches from the inside of the wheel well than stock the stock tire did. The top one is my set up.

    Here is your set up:

I’m actually curious about suggestions as well. I seem to be getting little paint nicks on the bedside and doors, think it maybe because of my offset (bought the truck like it is so not sure what the offset is on the wheels and haven’t measured). With the pictures provided, should I go with some flairs?

Look on the back side of the wheel. You will see some numbers stamped. Look for one that says ET. That will be your offset.

I would suggest some fender flares.
