Just sold my 2006 after all these years had unresolved new issue throwing check engine misfire number 4 cylinder code unable to resolve changed wires coils. The local Toyota dealer claimed they saw scarring in cylinder wall. Isn't some of that normal after 245,000 miles? New owner claims they fixed it by replacing a faulty coolant sensor throwing wrong codes as a misfire. I was fed alot of bs after 3,500.00 head job no coolant leaks or loss. Was well maintained now I'm in a 2015 v6 Tacoma not happy.rough ride bad gas mileage.

Welcome from LA (Lower Alabama)! Sorry to hear about your dealer problems. Maybe you can find another Tundra to move back into.

Welcome and greetings from Minnesota. Might as well track down another Tundra. Poor mileage but a smooth ride and more power!

Thanks for the kind words. I guess I'm gonna have to suck it up. The 2015 Tacoma somebody spent a few bucks making it a non 4 x4 4x 4 i.e it's a 2 x 4 but pre runner punisher lifted with Goodyear all terrain and nice rims so it's different but I didn't have (or want,) to drop the coin $45-$75,000 for a new one. Not in the cards now nearing retirement so I'll make it work.
