    One of many vehicles I found while exploring car dealers yesterday; 2020 Toyota Sequoia SR5 with less than 14K miles. It obviously has low miles and appears to be in good shape, but they are asking over sixty grand for the damn thing!

    Sorry I meant my truck was sold twice at new price. I just happen to be the 2nd sucker! 50k for a truck with 25k miles on it. The should have removed the driver's seat because it will be some time before I'm able to sit down after this purchase.

    Well, I posted about my saga with these in a different forum related to mud …

    just a couple of months ago it was difficult to find any of these vehicles, at any price. Don’t know whether or how much that situation has changed. I ended up paying MSRP for a used (albeit just a few months, dealer demo) TRD Sport. I saw MANY - used - vehicles that wanted a premium over MSRP.

    Sure, could have continued to look, but after three or four months it was certain that there were no other options for late model vehicles.

    I did the same. Couldn't hardly find anything around here. There was one Tundra on the lot that I wanted and it had 25k miles. I paid 50k and the dealer folks enjoyed a good laugh when I stated they got to sell this same vehicle at a new price twice. They smile and said, "yes".

    My dad bought me the Tacoma I am currently driving as a present when I first got my learner's permit, at this same dealership. My truck is a 2010 and we bought it in September 2000; I seem to remember the sticker being somewhere over $17K but less than $18K, and after negotiating and trading in a 1996 Nissan Pathfinder, he got them down to just under $15K. My dad is still shocked to this day that he got a brand new Toyota truck below sticker! Also, it was the end of the month so that played a role.

    Originally a thread called Did a 2008 Tundra have a backup camera?...

    I was of the impression that the Tundra did not get a backup camera an option until MY2009, and even then only the SR5 and above had the feature; I have seen 2009-newer SR5s and even Rock Warriors without the backup camera, and then I saw this 2008 CrewMax at a car show that clearly has the OEM tailgate handle backup camera...

    My 2008 SR5 also had a backup cam... It was optioned out for the most part (sunroof, JBL and NAV). I'm thinking that the package I had provided the cam w/the upgrade NAV/JBL system, or at least that would be my guess.
