1794 owners favorite Mods

New updates from this weekend. replaced front bumper with white endcaps, black centerpiece and smoked chrome TRD Headlights. Next project is grill and hood bulge followed by door handles.

I just decided that winch is going to be my next mod lol What winch is that and do you have a link? Do you have any pics of the install?

 

It's a Warn Zeon Platinum 12K-S. I bought everything from a good member on this site. Here's the list of what he sold me:



I added a Warn power interrupt solenoid and new power and ground cables. I'll follow a little later with some more install pictures.

Anyone replaced the chrome tailgate handle? Cant find too much about this on here.

 

I also have a 2016 1794. My tailgate handle is black. Where did you get a chrome one?

 

I'm betting it's a 3rd party add-on from the previous owner. I have yet to see a stock 1794 with a chrome tailgate.

@Tundra2Yak, you're either gonna need to purchase an OEM tailgate cover and replace or see if the chrome you have is an overlay. If so, you could probably just try to peel it.

 

It could be plasti-dipped or painted black, but probably not too durable over time on something like a high use tail gate handle.

 

While I have this thread open, my updates are:

59. Installed a new hood bulge since my previous was damaged in the accident I had a year ago. Also, removed the marker lights while I was at it.
60. Installed Morimoto Sequential Tail Lights and had to add VLED VLR-6 resistors to the Morimoto Sequential Head Lights for hyper flashing.

Waiting to be installed:
5. Bought OEM fuel tank straps (3-strap version for 38g) from RCI to install the RCI Fuel Tank Skid Plate.

Previous owner was a chrome fan I suppose. I pulled the chrome plastic off the handle portion. Will get to the surround later, feels like theres quite a bit more tape behind it.
