Whats up fellas!! New to the forum.

Ive read most of this post and have some questions

current set up. 2020 TRD Pro with Readylift SST 2” lift ( 4” over stock tundra ) and id like to throw some 37s on it. This kit comes with their uca that provides some assistance in keeping things in “stock” specs with larger tires. I know ill need a bmc and possibly have to cut the pinch weld as well.

So has anyone have this lift and running 37s?

Also what kind of labor cost have you guys been quoted for gear installs? Im being told 12-14 hours @$110 per hour

    Thanks in advance

    Not sure at this point.
I don't have experience with that lift, but just read over the description and looked at the product itself. It looks like you're running pucks up front and blocks in the rear to get the 4/2 from the kit.

The only stock specs you'll be keeping is your camber and toe. Your caster will vary due to various factors such as your wheel offset, what brand of 37's you'll be running (this is due to some "37s" being slightly smaller than others).

The lift will definitely allow you to run 37s with the mandatory BMC and possible PWM.

What wheels offset are you running?

Took off the front bumper in preparation for the install of my new SS Built bumper that will be in soon. Will post pics soon!

Also switching to SPC uppers if anyone is in the market for some Icon Tubulars. They clear the 37s but I am very close to rubbing..

Talking about tires? Or the amount of money to get to 37s?

Haha just tires. I found a warehouse near me with what I think is some pretty good deals, so just curious.

Honestly went onto FBMP and looked for used tires that were still decent tread. Lots of guys sell off these tires that are barely used for real cheap.

I agree anything they make is awesome. I personally went with no valence, rounded push bar, painted black, and extended length skid plate.

I'm curious about the total cost :) What do most shops charge for BMC/pinch weld? Figure I'd need to do UCAs and would probably also remove all the spacers from the front and replace with better components which probably puts me upwards of $5k with tires. How far off am I?

I think there are various levels of running 37s. From mild to wild I would say lol. Yes you could get away with it on milder items like you mentioned.I dont think that number you said is far off. I dont even want to add up my list yet.

If you are having a shop do all the work you might be a bit low. A shop can do an aggressive BMC and all you need for the rest is a BFH(big f*ing hammer). Don’t forget gears. Some run without them, but if you tow anything or off-road you need new ones (IMO). I noticed a change with only going to 35s.

Thanks for the insight. Running 35s now, no towing. If I did do 7s down the road it would be pure splurge but I'd definitely want to upgrade my spacer lift to go along with them.

Hey guys, I need some help. I reached out to sdhq about getting me set up on some 37's, problem is that they told me my stock 18's will not work at all. He said I need way more back spacing and when I told him I have 1 1/2" wheel spacers he said it's still impossible.

So now I'm wondering if anyone else has been able to get 37's on stock 18's before and if so what's your setup?

Jeez. Bought mine in January of 2021. Nitto G2s for $390 with lifetime balance/rotation. Feel like I lucked out.
yeah, your stock 18s won’t work. Just buy new wheels rather than running spacers. Something with +20 offset will work great.

Probably about $300 for BMC. At that price, just buy a welder and some BMC plates. Good way to learn and you already have the gear for next time.

Depends on where you're at but I was quoted $1800-2000. Ended up paying $1300 at a shop about 5 min down the road from me.

Damn, I was hoping to hold off on new rims until my next set of tires. Looks like I'm going stock size this round.

    Not sure at this point.
    You’re pretty close:

    Method 17s = $1200
    Nitto RG 37x12.5r17 (x4) = $1800
Suspension (lets say Fox 2.5 DSC front and 2.5 RR DSC) = $2800
    UCA (we’ll go SPC) = $700

    = $6500

If you do plan to go LT, then your MT set will be obsolete. LT components aren’t interchangeable. And LT is real costly if you ever look at Joon’s build. Rey’s list is definitely long and he’s gonna go LT soon.

I did all the work myself to fit 37s aside from alignment and mounting/balancing tires.

BMC and PWM are easy as long as you’re paying attention to your rubbing points.

Its that 60mm offset on the stock wheels. You can look into 2” wheel spacers… that’ll bring your stock wheels from 60mm to 11mm offset so it’ll probably work until you get new wheels.

I was going to try to fit 37s on my stock aluminum wheels, which I why I got spacers, but ended up finding a used set of wheels with 12mm offset.
