Used it in my Tacoma for a few years and it's great, and then used it in my new Tundra for a few months until I got a Raco Fabrication Dash Plate now so I no longer need this. Agreed, Hondo Garage makes great cell phone holders. I just got their tablet version since my new phone is too big for the normal cell phone version they make.

I've always used mine in conjunction with a Rago Dashplate, which is also an awesome product. I just attached a Ram Ball to the plate, a Ram Ball to the cell phone mount, and used a medium Ram arm in between.

 

I got a 6" ram extension and got a Ram X mount for my phone now. My new S22 Ultra barely fits in this mount.....

 

Haha... I also just got the S22 Ultra. I was bummed when it didn't fit with mine as well. I tried the Ram X but didn't really like it. I ended up ordering the Hondo tablet mount and it works perfectly. Pricey but perfect.

 

Ya I'm kind of on the fence about it, been using it for a week or two and its not terrible but takes times to get used too. I may have to look into that tablet one now.....

 

You ordered the big squeeze mount? So I'm assuming you can adjust the bolts on the back to make the mount smaller and then use the screw for adjustment? It says it goes from 0.75" to 8".

 

Yup, you can adjust the posts to accommodate whatever size device you have. I moved them in one spot in order to fit the S22 Ultra. Here are some pictures taken with my old phone...
