I’m a Tacoma guy who is looking to get into a 2022 Tundra after a bit when they become more available. I’m big on toppers and would like to see any photos if anyone with a 2022 has already installed a cap/shell. Let’s see them!

Will probably be a little while before they become available unless the dimensions are the same exact from pre 2022.

That’s what I was wondering. Didn’t know if the manufacturers are given that info early in order to design new products

Whenever there's a redesign or a new truck they usually takes a year for the topper makers to create a mold. That's one of the reasons I didn't jump on a gladiator is the whole first year there was no toppers available. considering the tundra is obviously much more popular than the gladiator though maybe it'll be sooner.

Its going to be a 4-6 months from what I have been told. I too am a topper guy, will go bedrack + tonneau cover until the topper is available then sell those parts off.

I have been curious if anyone has at least seen even a soft topper for the 22's? It does seem like the 2nd gens are a couple inches longer in bed length. Wondering how ridiculous it would be to have a 2nd gen soft top (soft top seems like the least expensive route to have a canopy) sitting on the bed of the 3rd gens. Anyone seen or heard of them fitting width wise?

If you order your cap with a removable front window, you can just take it out. I've had mine out since I got it and made a gasket to go between the cap and the truck.
