So been looking for bigger tires since installing my OME lift/suspension and like all of you probably are I am blown away by how expensive tires are right now. This morning I stumbled on Maxxis Razr AT’s in 285/75/R18 for $109. Thought it was a typo and my order would be canceled but just got the notification it shipped and will be delivered tomorrow (Wednesday 5/18). Will let everyone know if they show up. They are sold directly by Walmart and figured worse case I’d return them to the store. Hope this helps somebody else.

**tires are now $102, thanks @2015 Inferno TRD PRO

Agree in these times. Was expecting my order to be canceled. Would have passed if they were sold by anyone other then actual Walmart. Figure worse case I have to drive over to Walmart and return in store.

Yeah from what I’ve read seem to be on par with Kenda Klever’s. Good reviews, 50,000 mile warranty

I regularly trusted my health to Maxxis when I was younger and could allow some crushed bones to the gods of MTB trails =) They know a lot about best traction patterns and rubber compounds.

Searched briefly overseas forums for this model reviews - people seem to be happy with them.

Maybe they try to enter the already crowded market and keep the prices low.

Take a look at this thread, this size is mentioned under the 3 inch lift so you might have to do some plastic trimming/massaging. From my understanding you can go higher without to much trouble tire wise, it’s width that is the real problem. https://www.tundras.com/threads/largest-tire-you-can-run-stock-for-all-generations.9762/

The page says sold and shipped by Walmart meaning it is (likely, as WM probably doesn't want to own this inventory) a drop ship vendor account with pricing controlled by Walmart. It may be a typo on Walmart's behalf, but my guess it is not some shady 3P seller trying to pull a fast one. If you don't get as advertised, you can complain to WM and they will take them back shut the listing down.

Yes you shouldn't have a problem at all. Countless threads and rigs of guys running 295/70r18 on OEM TRD off road & OEM TRD Pro wheels with 2" lift. Tight around the UCA but definitely clears. The Mickey Thompson Baja Boss AT is the widest 295 that is made and it cleared the stock UCA just fine (¼")

a 285 will give you an extra ¼"" of peace of mind from the widest 295 AT in production. I bet the maxxis tire is closer to the 11.2 inches advertised instead of larger.

    That’s crazy cheap.

I just bought a set of 38” Razr MT’s at $492 each. So far I’m very impressed with the tires although it does look like the installer had to use quite a few weights to balance the tires out.

Just pulled the trigger on these, will be using them as my spare set just in case my 315/70r17 ko2s goes. Now need to wait for a cheap set of hood 18inch wheels.

Interesting. Mine seemed to balance and have held balance pretty good so far.

These are crazy cheap and hope they work out for you guys. Something like tires I like the piece of mind of buying from a store that will help if I have any issues. Had a puncture in a sidewall and LS replaced the tire for free. Wonder if you would get the same service on these, but at that price I guess who cares. I do like these tires so far !

These should have the backing of Walmart. I believe you can purchase a road hazard warranty when you have the tires installed. From what I’ve read they charge $15 a tire for install, balance, lifetime balance and for $25 a tire you also get road hazard.

Yes. It is a good pizza cutter 35s and I don’t see these size tires often, but at the price it would be a no brained if someone is looking for 35s that may require less cutting than 315s. 727C2197-8E31-48CC-95DE-0A65D668C66F.jpg
