Yeah I hear ya on heavy but the KO2 35s are 72 lb per tire. I’ve seen these in person on my buddies F250 but he was running 37s on 22s. These tires look good on a larger rim. Not sure how they would look with 18s. I can’t find BFG 295/70/18 anywhere nationwide back order. With my bumper and 1” wheel spacers I’ll be fine with 35s. I’ll just need to Body mount chop her.

I just placed an order at 4WP for a set of these in 35x12.5 17's, I'm stoked. Unfortunately, they are on backorder, so it'll be a couple weeks but they seem like they'll be worth the wait

So I just got these tires in 295/70r18 coming from 275/70r18s KO2s. Initial impression is they are ok. I love the look and are super quiet for as agressive as they appear. I would say they are definitely closer to an MT than an AT. They appear super wide compared to other 295s I've had in the past. The ride is ok but I can't really judge as they are still not balanced well. I get a lot of steering shake at 45mph and up. I have an appt to get them rebalanced Monday. They also appear to be even stiffer than the KO2s I had. Lots of bouncing but also that is around the same time that the steering wheel shakes. Grip is excellent in the rain and appears better than the KO2s although sizing is different. They also appear as if they will do far better in mud.
Bottom line I guess is if they can get them balanced properly I will be content with them. Probably won't buy again though.

Update: after multiple attempts to balance and roadforce balance shop said they were just too out of round. Ended up getting Recon Grapplers that balanced fine for same price.

Did you ever hear anything back from MT regarding this issue? I have 285/55/20 AT on my 20 TRD Sport Tundra and they shake as well after the 2 times I have taken them to get balanced and rotated. Bought them from DT and they also performed road force with no change either. Just looking for some advice on what I should do next? Someone told me to get it aligned now at dealership but I don't see how that will fix the shaking.

Any update on these. Just got back from 4WP truck and Jeep fest and ended up ordering these since in a 35x12.5x18 but they're D rated ones. The MT rep said they're specifically designed for 1/2 ton pick ups. They're still reinforced side walls just are a different compound and softer. A buddy of mine has them on his F250 for over a year and likes them. Said they suck in the snow but are great in the rain and on highway. I'd keep it simple and go with BFG KO2 since I had such good luck with mine but they're still back ordered in 18" sizes

I have 35x12.5x18s. Had trouble getting them balanced, went back 3 times, and two things happened: they finally balanced them the way they should have in the first place (you know, NOT putting a ton of weight in one spot on the inside of the wheel) and replaced a tire.

After that, I have had zero issues and love these tires.

    Good to hear q
KO2 after 30k suck in the rain. I heard these MT boss are good in the rain. The 35 is a 34.6 overall diameter. Same weight and diameter as the 295/75/18 but the 35 are load range D whereas the 295 load range E. MT rep at truck and Jeep fest was all about the load range D cause they designed for jeeps and 1/2 tons. Still has the newly engineered silica reinforced sidewall but they're supposed to be softer. Glad to hear the vibration was more shop issues. 4WP is used to big tires and for the most part knows there sheet.

    Looks great, what's your setup?

I'm getting ready to pull the trigger on these in 35" x 12.50 on my 17" Fuel rims with +8 backspacing with Bilstein 6112s and 5160s with the Coachbuilder shims up front and their 3" shackle in the rear.
