3" OME lift w/ UCAs. ARE overland shell w/ ARE roof rack. 34" Falken Wildpeaks. ARB awning. Road shower. Wilco Offroad Hitchgate Solo High Clearance. LED lighting upgrades. Lockerdown console safe. Weathertech floormats. Duluth deluxe rear seat cover to go under the offroad approved car seats.... :P
Researching a couple of upgrades right now. Looking to push my effective range out to 60-70, and my practice ranges to 60-100. 4mm Easton Axis Long Range arrows w/ 4 fletch and a Black Gold Pro sight w/ the dovetail. Current sight is maxed out at 60 yards, no more adjustment. Going to an adjustable pin/ 5 pin combo. FMJs have too much arc, so a friend who practices at 100+!!! recommended the Axis.

Been shooting Hoyt for years. Switched to PSE last year. Bought the Evl 34 and sold it to buy a Mach 1. The Mach 1 is sweet. Got it rigged out with hamskea rest. Spot hogg 5 pin sight. I’m shooting easton Hexx arrows. Just recently switched to the RIP TKOs they weigh basically the same. 4 fletch Tac vanes with QAD exodus heads.

I dig that camo pattern. I got the desert tan Prime Logic. It was solid tan. I used brown paint and a sponge to mottle the solid tan, which is a lighter tan. When standing in brush or bushes, it stands out, so had to break it up. Should have gotten the OD green or camo pattern. Oh well.

My last bow was tan. It looked good. But I like this camo pattern better.

I shoot traditional. I go back and forth between longbow and recurve. For now I’m shooting a “Yellowstone 1/2 Breed” 3 piece longbow. Next year I might get a recurve. 2EAFE000-4830-4A1B-A61E-187A58C03121.jpg

Heck yeah! Trad is all I shoot. I shoot both longbows and recurves, both right and left handed. Would like to try a horsebow one day.

Lol-yeah; I’ve re-fletched a few; my buddy in TX and I have 3 shot cold battles with pictures throughout the week to stay sharp and send pics to remain motivated in the off-season…his off-season is much shorter in TX than mine in AZ

I had to come down in poundage due to arm surgery. Now I’m shooting a 45# Fleetwood recurve. It’s not one of those expensive high price custom bows, but it really shoots nice. A80EA602-D4D3-4CA5-8385-07F76658B594.jpgB87FAA6C-B144-4725-8A63-53F3FC139BAB.jpg

I left the OC last year and moved to Texas. I do miss public land hunting in California.

I know you're lying if you're now in TX. I'm a tad jealous. I know there's areas in TX where one tag is for five deer. And only two have to be bucks. Cali is such a sad place to be if you're into hunting...or guns...or low taxes...or trucks...or freedom.....

Running a Mathews DXT (27" axel-to-axel). It's been a great bow, but not very forgiving on the let up or long range accuracy. Going to be switching to a newer unit after this season and getting a longer axel-to-axel. Eying up the Mathews V3 and the PSE Levitate. Very excited to shoot some faster rigs!

The only picture I can find of my bow at the moment:

Most of the hunting here is on private land so you have to get on a lease. There are public land opportunities here, but most get so crowded.

Just got into bow hunting last year. This bow hasn’t seen blood yet but that will change. I’m a big dude with long arms so my options are limited with draw length. This is the Hoyt Axius Ultra 32”. Spot Hogg Fast Eddie with the AAE Prophecy rest. Spupid fast with it being such a long draw

This will be my first archery season. Went shopping fully expecting to buy a V3X, but I shot a bunch of bows and landed on this Prime Inline.

You'll love it. I have a Prime Logic, a few years old. Shoots darts. I prefer the center balance of the grip, but my Logic is a tad heavy. So long hikes takes its toll.

Got in a TX pig hunt in late June before my late August MT antelope hunt. Pig was at 37 yards; antelope at 80 yards…both with my Hoyt RX-4 Ultra

Just upgraded my Prime with a single pin (CBE tactical) and 5mm Easton FMJs. Added about 65 gr to the weight of my arrows.

New to me Hoyt rampage 50-70#. I have it at around 53# now. I traded a longbow for it. It’s getting hard on my fingers shooting the recurve due to arthritis in my fingers/hands. Using a wrist release on the compound, I don’t feel any pain afterwards in me hands. For me, It just don’t feel right using a release on a recurve. like shooting both traditional & compound. 951B3943-A2AE-45CC-8DBD-86C7E594B503.jpg

Got a new to me 50# 50” Browning Cobra recurve. Nice little bow for being made in 1969. I might take it turkey hunting this spring. If I do, I gotta cover the shine/glossy look before I take it hunting. 34D54036-16AB-465C-8556-5507AC1C3632.jpgF2BA3B36-C593-4E39-80B3-34C8E160AC03.jpg

Wondering if any east coasters on here have heard of Athens Archery. Located in Henrietta, NY (upstate). I had a pop up for them and looked into them. USA made and veteran-owned. Bows look pretty nice. Just wondering if any one has any experience with them as I'm looking to get a new bow next year. Thanks.

Just decided to take up hunting this year. I've always been a shooter but never hunted. Got a Diamond Deploy SB as my starter bow. 60lbs draw. I'll probably upgrade to Mathews next year or the year after but I'm happy with Diamond right now. It's been a pretty easy transition for me as someone who has been shooting guns since he was 6. Hoping to make it out to the woods once rifle season ends. Due to a my wifes grandfather passing away I wasn't able to make it out 2 weekends ago which would have been my only chance before Rifle starts.
