Passenger Side view mirror

Has anyone had there passenger side view mirror camera cap just fall off? I was driving when suddenly I heard a loud thud went stop to check it and saw nothing no dents no hit car looked clean got to my destination went to park and the passenger side was blacked out.

Welcome and greetings from Minnesota, heck of a thing to happen to a new truck... I’d be a bit ticked off. Is it covered under warranty?

 

I was but everything is covered under warranty. I’ve had a couple more common problems like the side molding come apart there going to fix it all, only concern is how long will this take.
