Bingo! While on vacation this week someone stole my 105 Yeti off my truck. Broad daylight in a busy area. Locked down with the cable lock plus another strap. Full of drinks and ice so very heavy. Cut the cable with bolt cutters and cut the strap with a razor knife. Had to take 2 people a couple minutes to pull it off. Filed a police report because security told me he saw me park on video so hoping maybe cops can see something but not holding my breath. I did find out that yeti will send me a new lock and cable and 30% off a new cooler with a copy of the police report. Better than nothing I guess. Damn thieves

Yes, saw that. Good deal, just need something bigger for our excursions. Probably bump up to a 125 QT

I removed my bed mat, and with the cooler positioned exactly right, it will now allow the tonneau to close and lock - with about a millimeter to spare. That said, it's not very convenient to have to remove the bed mat and have the cooler positioned just right every time I have it in the truck and want to close the tonneau. I am selling it, or will try to return it as cheaply as possible. Gander Mountain is going out of business and they now have Yeti and Engel at 20% off.

I have a Pelican 80qt with wheels. Close to the best investment I have ever made. Holds ice for a week+. Fits under my mx4 cover too!

My brother used to live in Denver. I have some stickers from there on the cooler. Including my brothers Pizza Ship sticker.

Ever been to Biker Jims? Awesome hotdog place.

I was just given a Yeti 65 randomly and I must say, I'm pretty happy with it. I loaded it up with beers and ice Sunday and it still has a lot of ice today. It's been damn near 100 degrees here too. Plus, it has a lot of space to put all of my random stickers on. Where do I get a tundras.com sticker?

The Yeti 65 is nice. Although it can get a little on the heavy side when full of beer. Just make sure you drink enough beers to lighten up the load.........

Hold the Line! If you are not holding the line, abandon your ship. Destruction is inevitable without more to hold the line!
Here is some good info for reference on this subject. It looks like:
Orca, Engle, Pelican, and Siberian all do better than Yeti. Also noteworthy is the fact that igloo lasts just as long if not longer than a Yeti and it is less than half the price.

My Yeti kept my food frozen to semi frozen for over 6 days. My recent test with my new Sub Zero (posted here... did you happen to see it???) did pretty much the same. I have my my own test criteria. I'm off the grid a lot. The "five day" ice challenge is pretty much junk science BS. All about the prep. It helps a lot if you know what you are doing and have some grasp on thermodynamic science.

Took my Pelican to florida for 7 days and left it in the car. 80-90 degree days. Never had to refill the ice. Kept everything cold. Of course it depends how often you open the coolers too.

I will trust you on this as I am sure your knowledge on the scientific method is far superior to the place doing these "tests". I was slightly concerned with how they were testing this. Things such as the placement and layout of the ice chests in the storage concerned me, since they were not mentioned. It is funny I never heard of Metrology until I saw it mentioned in your info. Very interesting field for sure, without out there would be "no reliability" in science.
