Anyone go with 3 inches of lift in the front, no change to rear? I've currently got Bilstein 5100s at top setting, one .25" coachbuilder shim on driver side (for lean). Still a little rake. I'm considering going with a 3/1 lift but leaving out whatever the kit comes with for the rear but I wanted to see how that might look. Thanks.

I want it to be level. Call that what you will. Nonetheless, enjoying it in the meantime. But could enjoy it more with some tweaking. We like to tweak around here . . .

I've heard. But as I mentioned in my original post, mine isn't level and I've got Bilstein 5100s on top setting with a shim on the driver side.

2 inch lift in front levels the truck.

    (1) Perhaps take 15 seconds and read the original post in a thread before chiming in. (2) Every truck is different; 2 inches might level one truck, but not another.

Trying to help you and find that response aggressive. 2 inches lift in front levels the truck if stock and no suspension sag or issues. That is a fact, any variance on a good condition stock vehicle will me minor, 1/4 inch or less. If you lift 3 inches in front, then you need an inch lift in rear to level. Don't worry, I won't attempt to assist you again.

Please don't. I began my post by saying I've already lifted well over two inches and am not level. You telling me that you believe 2 inches would make me level is therefore completely unhelpful and infers that I am hallucinating or lying about my truck not being level.

Not sure what kit you are referencing with 3/1 level and just leaving out the rear

Based on having your 5100’s at max and 1 shim might try this…

    From Coachbuilders site:

** Up To 2 Shims Can Be Used Per Side for 1.00” of lift, Bump stop extension kit is recommended.

** Tip: The Tundra Usually sits .50" lower in the front driver side corner, By using (2) shims on the driver side and (1) on the passenger side you're able to level the truck out left to right correcting the uneven stance. This product provides a 1:2 ratio and will measure .250" in actual thickness.

Thanks. I didn't have any particular 3/1 kit in mind, but would probably go with the Readylift.

Alternatively, I've thought about just adding another shim to each side, but the suspension shop advised against it. I don't think it would be a problem, though.

I'll probably just do a 3/1 lift and see how it looks, tweak as needed to get it "just right."

Coachbuilder also sells a 1” shim set…would be a solid 1” on the driver side and you could move the other coachbuilder shim you have now to the passenger side. Then sell the extra shim in the set and come out less than a 3/1 kit altogether. Just a thought

Thanks. I was considering this very solution. Might still do it. My only concern is that is that the suspension shop said don't. However, I can't think of why it would be a problem, at least if I put in a bump stop extension. And the alignment place said I could go up another inch each side without running into problems for alignment (even with stock UCA) or joint angles, etc. I'll probably give it a go. . .
