I attempted to engage my search-fu and wasn't successful. First time I've had new AT tires, BFG KO2s and want to know how often they should be rotated. I'm pretty sure I'd seen something about doing it every 3-5K, with every oil change but I'd like to see what you all think and have experienced.
Reading other threads, appears that front to back is preferred, but how often and do these big, heavy things need to be balanced at the same time or do you just rotate them if you're not experiencing any vibration or other issues?
Thanks very much for any input or direction to existing thread if I've missed it.

    I rotate my Wildpeak AT3s every 5k miles. 4x4 I use #3 (rearward cross).

5k should be fine. I always do front to rear and it's been fine.

I've never had to redo a balance BUT alignments seems to come up every few years.

5k miles, always! Not just rotation, but rotation and balance.

You balance every 5k? How often is it out?

There are balance corrections every time I have them rotated, without fail, with any brand AT tire that I have ever run. Balance and rotation every 5k miles is the single most effective thing you can do to get the most out of your tires, aside from running correct air pressure.

I rotate mine every 3-4k at my oil change. I would go much over 5k with the KO2s or the shudder might come.
