My truck was recently hit while parked on the side of the road. The front bumper was destroyed ( also one of my Rock warrior wheels suffered from some cosmetic damage so if anyone has an extra they want to sell for a reasonable price I'm interested haha). Insurance gave me some money, I put some of it towards a DIY Move Bumpers Precision front bumper. I have a professional welding buddy that recommended them and said he would weld it up for me, he does great work.

This is the bumper --> https://www.movebumpers.com/products/precision-25-prerunner-front-bumper-kit with light pocket and light bar cutout.

The truck spends about half of it's time offroad mostly BLM and fire roads in Western Montana when camping. I would like to be able to have a road legal fog setup and something brighter with more coverage for offroad.

Here is what I am thinking.
    1. Pair of SS3 Amber Sport SAE Fogs - OEM fog switch - for street use and offroad
    2. Pair of SS3 Amber Pro SAE Fogs - aftermarket dash button - for offroad and blizzards
    3. Cheap 30" lightbar from superbrightleds.com to fill the lightbar cutout - aftermarket dash button
    4. Might add ditch lights and reverse lights down the road maybe next year.
Would this be a good setup? Is it overkill? I would rather save money than spend it, but I like doing things right the first time as I plan on using this truck for at least another 10 years. I would also like to upgrade the suspension to the Bilstein 6112/5160 setup since my shocks are starting to show their age a bit, so money saved would allow me to do this sooner.

Thanks any feedback would be helpful.

So my basic recommendation on the fogs is to start with the pros tied to your OEM fog light switch, and skip the SS3 sports altogether in the fog pattern. A properly aimed set of SS3 Pros is street legal, and kicking on a set of SS3 pros in conjunction with them you really won't even know that you turned on the sports.

As for what to do with that other set of lights I would still recommend the SS3s, but probably instead in a combo pattern. That will give you some down-range support as well as some flood to help with the overall lighting picture. A good offroad pattern.

If you choose to work with us here at Hotshot Offroad :)wave: from Missoula) we could help you with the 6112/5160 setup as well
