    So just got around to trying to install this. Did you use the supplied wire harness? (Looks like it has a built-in fuse). I was looking at the oem harness that comes out but it has 2 connectors at 90° from eachother while the Amazon charger has 2 connectors sticking straight out next to each other. Just wondering how you made the actual connection?

    I just disconnected at the plastic connecters. Bent the ring connectors from the new usb adapter so they fit snug in the plastic connector from the truck. Not a proper install by any means but I didn't want to mess with it too much in case I ended up switching back. Plus, access to the wiring is very easy. I have two in the truck and they have been great so far.

    Just make sure its snug and won’t slip out. I taped up each connection individually first and then together with some electrical tape. Don’t short any fuses either!

    $16.99 cdn on Amazon.ca Was hesitant on the quality and thought about waiting too see what happened with AJT’s petition to toyota but I needed to get up to $35 for free shipping on a different item. Happy with it so far, now to switch the two trim pieces to match.

    I haven't been home yet to confirm but she says we have some larger pieces so I'm hoping for the best. A bit of superglue might do the trick.

    I think it's time for new pads and rotors. I haven't looked too closely yet but the pads look pretty thin and the rotors seem slightly warped as there is some pulsing when braking. I've looked at a lot of threads and I think I'm leaning towards OEM, stop tech or EBC.

    Anyone run these brakes that can give some feedback?

    I had those in my cart, saw them recommended a lot. Ultimately backed out due to the drilled rotors. I like the idea of slotted rotors though.
