Running a 3.5” lift, I have 285/75/18 tires on fn wheels 12mm offset.
I was thinking of replacing the tires with 35x12.5, and after looking at the clearance I have from the body mount, about .75”-1”, I’m wondering if the wider tire will hit with my current offset.

Am I understanding this correctly, if I go to a wheel with a 25mm offset, would that give me a little more clearance at the body mount than a wheel that sticks out more?

    Not sure at this point.
It may give you some more room to play, but it's hard to tell. I'm guessing you haven't done a BMC?

I have not. It doesn’t need it currently and I’ve seen guys running the same lift clear 35’s with certain wheels
