Trust me - I wasn't complaining :) It was a quick hunt, but very exciting and memorable.

Hunting ranch in Texas after I was done with some company sponsored training a few years back. I took some ASYM 70g Barnes TSX loads out to see what the 70g all copper bullet would do on tough hogs before I decided to use it to make my own version of the military 5.56 "brown tip" round. Figured if it could do a number on these things then it would be effective on 2 legged varmints as well. I knew what the result was going to be but it's always different when you've seen it for yourself. Was pretty amazing the way that tiny pill ripped through this hog. Was hoping for one of the really big, gnarly looking ones with monster tusks that would look like some sort of alien mounted on my wall, but this was the only shot I got that trip. Donated locally after we cut her open to see how the bullet performed. (BCM mid 16 mod 2, "old reliable").

:rofl:That's hilarious. The only one I ever handled belonged to my grandpa. Unfortunately I wasn't the next in line to inherit it. I watched it drop a few mallards tho. Someday I'll pick one up.

I’ve killed a couple bucks all spot and stalk with my bow in NM. I just drive and glass until I find a buck I like and then I watch him until he gets in a position to where I feel I can stalk him. Most the time the stalk doesn’t work out, but occasionally it does. PM me if you want to. I don’t mind talking antelope.

Ignore the ppv, sold that hunk of junk to buy my tundra. Worst car I’ve ever owned.

5 year old 8 point out of the sc lowcountry. 170 pounds on the hoof late November. Damn big deer for here and the biggest I’ve ever killed.

    65lb javelina.

Charged me from 10ft away from under a bush. I put one shot through the front shoulder. Bullet went through the shoulder blade, into the spine, traveled down the spine for about a foot, went through the hip bone, then came to rest just under the skin on the back of the rump. The javelina tumbled, rolled, and came to rest on my foot kicking and spasming.

The gun was my glock 20 with a 6in barrel. The ammo was Underwood ammo 10mm 180gr hollow points.

10mm is so good i just can't justify buying a 45 or 9mm. 10mm does everything they both do, but better.

    10mm is best mm.

    Did i mention that i like 10mm? Because i like 10mm.

10mm was my "go to" sidearm for archery season for years. Awesome round, and pretty much the largest caliber that is high capacity capable in a standard size pistol. Then I had a close encounter with a very large bear, now I carry a 44 mag.
