First post so please go easy! Finally have my dream truck as I have always loved this board.

Want to add a few things to my '17 dark gray XP Crewmax and would appreciate your suggestions on the best bug deflectors.

    Thanks for having me!

I was looking at a deflector when I got my truck as well but a post somewhere on this site identified that only the lower 1/2 of the windshield would be protected so I decided against the purchase.

    and welcome from Erie, PA

Welcome aboard from AZ. I'm no help on the bug deflector. Last one I had was on a'78 Ford 3/4t.
What other mods have you got planned?

Bug deflectors .... I haven't seen one made for our Gen 3's that I like. To me they just look out of place so I'd rather go with a clear bra.

Lol, you now got me thing ... I wonder if there's away to convince Victoria Secret to produce a clear bra line.

I dont think a bug deflector is needed, nor do i think it would look right installed on the Tundra due to design...my 2 cents

I've had Toyota hood protector (they call it that) for the past 6 years. I like it. They are popular where I live (we also happen to have a lot of bugs). I would definitely recommend it (I like the quality of OEM ones), but I don't even know if Toyota makes them for 3rd gen Tundras.

Low profile AVS. clean design and sits flush to front hood, even have them for the side and rear windows

Probably the best ones yet, but still doesn't make sense to me since the hood bulge is exposed. I'm sticking with my choice ... Clear bra for the win.
