Getting ready to see oncologist in a few minutes. Just got bloodwork results. Very good all around. PSA level dropped down to 0.19 from 0.41. Good news actually.

My oncologist says my PSA probably went up to 0.41 six weeks ago because he took me off Orgovyx two weeks prior to that. I got a Lupron shot last visit six weeks ago which brought down PSA again and should continue going down......hopefully!
My Testosterone level is down to <7.....fun times indeed.

I skipped the appointment and passed on the bag. I still technically need it but I'll survive without. I am dealing with mental health issues 1st.

6 week follow up with oncologist this morning. Bloodwork was great. BP was 127/78. PSA dropped down again to 0.12! Got another Lupron shot in the butt. Fun times there. Reminds me of Bevis & Butthead. "We're going to Butt. Butt, Montana! Heheh... I go back in 3 months. My doc wants me to schedule a CT and bone scan a couple days prior. He wants to take another look see. Both scans are in house which is convenient. I had a second oncologist sit in today with my primary oncologist. A Ms Yamamura. New to UC Health Oncology and supposed to be top notch. I like top notch.

Had a CT scan followed by a bone scan last Friday morning. Saw my oncologist today. Bloodwork this morning. PSA< 0.08. Good. Could be better. Both scans indicated no cancer in my bones or soft tissues. NADA. NOTHING!! One highly red flag suspect lesion on my L2 vertebrae disappeared from previous scans. Zytiga/Prednisone regimen will continue. Sore right butt cheek due to another Lupron shot. Needless to say my Docs are quite pleased. Beer time! Cancer can try to make a comeback again and probably will, but treatment is working. The daily pills still suck tho....

Prednisone truly sucks......... I asked my Doc why I bruise so easily. Culprit>>>>>>Prednisone. He said it causes thinner skin with prolonged use. Great......

Just had life saving surgery to remove stage 1 cancer found during a colonoscopy. I lost 2 friends in the last 9 months due to colon cancer. Not something to wait for! Deal with the prep or deal with chemo?

Good advice, Rock. My dad died of colon cancer at the young age of 74. I'm 75 now and have for the past couple decades, had a colonoscopy every 5 years because of the family history. Not fun, but better than the alternative.

Great that they found it early. I have a friend that prostrate cancer and over the years he was doing chemo but it finally spread and became leukemia. He passed last weekend.
I had Basel cell cancer on my ear, got it removed last March, and required a skin graft. The doc did a good job. I’m going in next month for a follow up. You gotta keep on top of these things.

I just recently had a Colonoscopy and was given the pills instead of having to drink the liquid. It wasn’t really bad at all.
A bidet is a great friend when prepping.

Had my 3 month checkup yesterday. Bloodwork results were great overall. PSA now down to 0.07 which is of no concern. Needs to stay under 0.1. Blood pressure is normal. Got a Prolia and Lupron shot which always sucks. So far so good! Downside>>>>doc is going to schedule a colonoscopy. I'm due to have one again apparently. Great.......
