Adding long tube headers, worth the effort?

@dirtydeeds do you know of anything available for my truck on the market? 2012 1GR-FE DOHC, anything from headers to intake or any possible modifications? Been keeping an eye out. I'd love to do headers if their out there but JBA said they discontinued their shorty set for my truck

 

It is exhausting having so much knowledge in your header. It would be ashamed to waste it.

 

Is it worth it to add LT headers with the TRD/Maggy supercharger?
I've read some have them and some say not to do it. Just have never read why not to do it.

 

Depends on what your expectations are. If you are chasing HP you aren't leaving much on the table compared to the blower. If it is sound you are after most headers will give the engine a deeper growl.

Main issue I've read about here is throwing codes with aftermarket cats. Codes subside in some cases.

 

I have a slight exhaust leak that is bothering the piss outta me form installing the block off for a Hewitt SAIS bypass. I guess I'm lookin' for a reason to have to find LT's, mid pipe and exhaust. Is there someone making an X pipe for these?
