    Working on it!
Ok, got the unit in yesterday and paired it with my 2019 Crosstrek to see how it worked...it is 100% compatible without update. I was skeptical on the quality of the unit but pleasantly surprised. It is by far the best Bluetooth solution I've used in a car.

I do notice the unit lags a bit if the phone is my back left pocket when driving but bringing it out to the cup holders, it is seamless. I may buy another one for the Tundra.

    Good review and suggestion overall!

I bought the wireless CarPlay adapter and originally it worked good. However if I receive a call or basically even touch my phone it will completely go nuts, won’t let me have control of volume and be useless until I turn the truck off. Absolutely maddening. I guess I’m going to return it.

I have checked for updates FYI.

so if the dongle uses both BT and wifi to connect to your phone... can you still be able to use the google map?

I had mine installed this past week. It works great but I have noticed a bit of a change in the sound quailty overall. It almost sounds like all of the output is coming from the dash speakers. I played around with the speaker settings but that hasn't helped much. I'm trying to balance out the sound more if any of you guys have ran into this issue. Thnx!

Do you have an aftermarket stereo? Or you now have a 2020/2021 Tundra with factory CarPlay?

2015 tundra. The upgrade was to bring the bad boy up to 2021 standards… (more like 2019 but still)

I think it found the settings that fixed it. I also got a new tesla this past month and the acoustics beats the crap out of the stock tundra so that may also be a huge factor.

Does the wireless Carplay work just as reliably and consistency when used simultaneously with the wireless console charger? Looking to do this great mod soon, as my cable has been driving me nuts especially after having installed the wireless charger…

Looks like you have a new truck, but did you do the 2021 radio conversion on your 2015 and use this adapter for wireless CarPlay?
