Is it counter productive to keep your anti-sway bar connected?

To those who got in the GB, I just received an update from RCV that we may need to wait another month or two to receive our CV axles. Obviously not something you all wanted to hear, but just remember the great deal we all got on these, especially with their recent prices hikes. I’ll check back with RCV next month for another update.

The waiting is no fun, been there. The axles are so worth it though

Me too! 3 months went by quick.

@Cruzer I had to send a follow up on the boots and grease that were added as they weren’t included in this shipment. I’ll let you know when those are on the way.

Just got a tracking number. Should be 5 days or so according to the FedEx ground shipping map (IL to WA state).

Hey All - It appears not everyone who ordered a set received a shipment notification. I’m assuming RCV is shipping these CV axles out as they are produced, but please reach out to Dillon @ RCV for an update on your specific order if you haven’t received any communication.

You should have received an email confirmation when the order was placed over the phone with him. I would reply back to that email to ask for an update.

Hopefully, everybody’s order ships out soon!

Just got my CVs today and opened the package to find this batch did not come with the orange boots - or at least my set didn’t. Meh, oh well. Time to throw these bad boys on.

Make sure you install the dust shields, especially the inner, it controls how far they go into the differential. If not the driver side beats the snot out of the center pin. Mine are going in for 2nd rebuild.

I’m assuming I reuse the shields from the stock CV axles?

You could try, but I bought new ones. I definitely couldn’t remove the outer without blowing it up, had trouble installing the new one also.

That is interesting because that is RCV’s signature for their axles, never seen them with any other color. In fact they do not offer black boots

Everyone from the first group buy got black boots, few of us had to replace the boots and they are black also.

I just emailed RDV yesterday since my axles should be shipping any day now. The response that I received was "I regret to inform you that the parts from the most recent production run have been used and we won't be able to assemble and ship your order for roughly 10+ weeks. We build orders strictly first come first serve. I apologize for the inconvenience. If you prefer to cancel, please advise."

I realize that the current business climate is unprecedented but this is quite ridiculous.

If you have to wait that long you should at least get the correct color boots that is their signature

I get it, I waited a year for my kings w/ 700# springs to arrive after being told they would take 6 months. I think the RCVs are still worth the wait, but like Dillon mentioned, you are able to cancel.

Thanks. Can you post the part #'s instead? 2 of each I see. Image is pretty blurry. Tried downloading to desktop and export to different file types/resolutions but still not clear enough.
