It is pretty steep for sure. The Po'Po' was out in force up there thee past few days. I had to use my service brakes twice going west with 8k lbs.

I was watching on guy smoke his brakes on his car. I'm pretty sure he had nothing going into Pagosa. Smoke billowing out the wheels.

Forgot to mention, 160 is rough as hell now. I felt like I should have installed long travel suspension with CO and Bypasses.

I try and avoid CO160 at all costs. On Monday, I was unfortunate and seen the aftermath of two separate head on collusions. People are such in a damn hurry and Lord forbid being behind a camper or semi doing the speed limit.

The State Trooper that helped me out on Wednesday with the trash truck driver worked both of those accidents. The first one we came across was a 3/4 ton Chevy and a Honda Pilot. The lady in the Pilot died.

My kids were sad. The Trooper apologized for saying that in the vicinity of my kids, but I told him I don't sugar coat anything and talked about it on Monday. Life is hard and definitely not fair. I shook his hand and thanked him for his service and showed him my support. He also informed me there was a head on in Durango as well.

I'm more aware of what you're saying than many. Most of my work is on the highway, inches from traffic. We joke about "playing Frogger", but sometimes i get really angry at the attitude of drivers.
I'm frequently hiring DPS for my work zones and can't say enough good about the work they do!

Oh crap I forgot what you do for a living.

    Your nuts..:D

I'm not sure about Colorado, but every time there is highway work going on, the red and blue is on site.

There was a lot of fail on both sides in this one. Somewhere, in some village, several idiots are missing.

Jesus Sean. I'm embarrassed to reside in CO. It is really bad here, and getting worse.

My Off-Road crew and I avoid I25 Northbound anywhere north of Monument now. If we need to go out and see the western slope, we take 50, 24, or anything else. When I went up to wheel with Connor in Northern CO, that drive sucked big time.
