What’s the distance of the structure for the direct bury tank?

That would take up a lot of space….We are Planning to get a heat pump soon so our propane usage will go down.

The tank final resting spot was limited to the existing propane hose connection. He did not want to cut the hose and put on a new fitting. I wanted to keep it close to the house so it did move back about a foot. The tank was about 6 feet down and 10 ft from the house. The tank long axis is parallel to the garage. I want to have space for vehicles to be able to get to the back yard, as I will be putt a shed on the side where the 4 markers are.

The access to the tank is under the green Plastic lid. The regulator is there along with a % fill gage.

Did a good clean on the pool this weekend with family coming over in my new uniform courtesy of my wife. Girlfriend approves of it too:wink:
    Resized_20220416_150709.jpg
Unfortunately, we had an issue with out hot tub heater acting up this weekend. I was cutting grass on Thursday, and the wife wanted to get in the tub when I finished. She fired it up and it was heating up while she was netting out the grass/bugs from the pool. At one point she turned around and noticed the exhaust was shooting a flame out of it! She got a quick video while sniffing for propane smell (never smelled it, so we think it was burning off as it was leaking). I send video and pics to the people that installed it and they have the rep for the heater coming out today to look at it and look at getting it replaced. They've never seen it do this. Fortunately, we don't have a pile of ashes for a house right now. As some of you know, we just finished this pool not too long ago, so it kinda sucks to have issues. But just glad no one was hurt and we are getting these "bugs" worked out before swim season is in full swing.

10’ from the structure - that’s code from what I could. Just wanted to be sure…I had someone at the propane company trying to tell me 25’ but I wasn’t finding that in the code I was looking at

Kinda some of our thoughts too. I've gotten 2 calls already this morning. They'll be here this morning. They're in complete shock and a lil freaked out. Probably a bit that someone could have been hurt, but also scared I might sue lol.

Yeah I’d probably push for a new unit, and have them do a thorough start up check on the new one

as of the phone calls this morning...a new unit is coming (even if they have to take from another customer that already ordered one). I believe the rep from the company is going to be here to install it as well. the rep from the heater company live an hour from me. so i don't see that being too far fetched. they'll update me asap on arrival time and all.

Are you sure she wasn’t spiking the hot tub with birth control? I hear the Fotnot rated stuff can be flammable. The woman must be worn out. ;)

Pool came out real nice. How do you like that vacuum? I hated using the stock vac. You might might already know you can get more suction if you plug the other skimmers.

https://www.hammerheadvac.com/main#specs This is the one I used to use. Way overkill for you lol

thanks man. it's just the simple one they "gave me" when we finished the pool. it works and flexes around corners of stairs and all. does what i need fairly well.
i can changed the suction by changing the suction at my filter to cut my skimmer or main drain or split it 50/50. i usually put it about 75-85% suction on the skimmer where the hose hooks in and take the rest off the main drain. i've done 100% on the skimmer before and it'll suck the vacuum head to the floor and it's tough to get it to break suction. i've found that putting it towards the skimmer that much most of the time helps more with keeping the trash floating on top out of the pool and pulled into the skimmer quicker. and being that I have an automatic fill line hooked up, i don't have to worry about the water getting too low for it and it sucking air at any point. that hammerhead looks nice, but yea, prob overkill for what i need. i have a dolphin that gets 99% of the trash on the bottom. most of the vacuum is for the lil bit it may miss, but also mostly for the 2 tanning ledges and the hot tub since the dolphin doesn't get there.

This is very true. We'll probably have to take shifts in the pool, I'd hate for our combined sexiness to create some kind of wormhole and destroy Southwest Louisiana.

The sod is going crazy. Don’t look at the sandy spot. We took out a butt ton of trees are are now deciding if we want to take the leap to sod the back or just try and get the grass to grow. Learning curve is crazy
