Water Spot Remover

Comments look good but wanted to see if anyone here can attest to this stuff's efficacy?

 

"Sud". Is that the singular of "suds"? I've not heard of them before.

 

Gonna find out if they know what they're talking about in Hawai'i (where it's shipped from).

 

Their advertising spots are pretty impressive....but few things work that well in practice

 

I lived in Hawaii and it was a constant battle to remove water spots. Not saying that it is a good product however. Just saying water spots in Hawaii are a pain in the ass.

 

Use an SOS pad and water to clean the water spots off the glass.

 

I've used it a few times, with some luck. Currently live on the Big Island and yes, water spots suck here and are the biggest PITA so I try everything I can... (plus, a client bought it for me to try so why not!)

It smells like peppermint toothpaste, dusty AF unless you keep it damp, and takes A LOT of elbow grease to work on the tough ones... Using a DA might seem quicker, but I didn't think so... It seems to be geared more towards hand applications? IMHO, not the best, and not the worst... I keep going back to Pinnacle glass works or ceriglass for heavy etching... Still trying to get my hands on some acid here so I can finally try that...

But if you have it, and need a WSR, you can get by!
