Can anybody give me some advice on how to get the bulb aligned to twist into the headlight housing? I can’t get mine to twist and lock into place. Do you have to pull the headlights to get these bulbs to lock in place? TIA

Yeah, in Toyota's infinite wisdom, they designed it so you have to remove the grill and quarter pieces and then the headlight housings to change the bulbs.

It says 14-18, but yours should be the same besides maybe the TSS stuff.

Thanks. I can get the headlights off just didn’t want to go through all that to change a bulb. I can reach the bulb I just can’t get the triton bulb to twist and lock in.

You can reach the driver side to access that one.

you might have to remove the wash fluid tank to access the passenger side. I did both side without removing the grille and headlights.
The bulbs have set screws for them, you need to find the right pattern

Depending on which rubber washer that you are using, it's a tight fit so you have to put some descent pressure on it to compress it while you turn the bulb.

Yea that too, they only sent one size washer per bulb. So that’s what I’ve been working with.

In the time you've spent typing in this thread, you would have already had the grille off and back on.
It takes less than 10 minutes to get it off.

I know how it comes off. Done several times. My main concern is not accessing the bulb mount it’s getting the bulbs to fit and turn and lock in place. I’ve changed headlights before, grills, fog lights etc. The bulbs won’t twist and lock in place is my delima.

Gah I forgot to reply to your other message as well! Did you figure this out? If not, please feel free to give me a call/text at 406-936-0206 and I can walk you through it. As @Tundra234 mentioned you have to apply pretty good pressure to collapse the large washers.
