running boards , TRD sway bar and tundra 08 SR5 wheels. FRACmod, pop&lock and backup sensors installed .

These are all for 16 TRD that have 100 miles supposedly have a chance to buy them they are saying make an offer. Would this make much difference to my 2015 double cab SR model. I have the TRD sway bar. How much are they worth ?he doesn't know the model number

They look like the stock TRD off road shocks. They might be a better ride than the stock non-TRD shocks. I wouldn't spend very much for them.
You'll still need to put your springs on them

THanks @Bprose I wonder if better shocks with standard springs are worth the upgrade for a 2WD asphalt queen ? I figure $200-$ 300 for installation .

IMO it's worth it, especially if you can get them for a cheap price. Your suspension should be slightly stiffer and more responsive. There are lots of guys on here including myself that have upgraded shocks with the stock springs so unless you were looking to lower the truck or turn it into a prerunner the stock springs are perfectly fine for a street application. If you can install them yourself, which is actually pretty easy to do, that would save some cash. All you would need is to have the springs installed on the struts, a pretty simple job that most shops would do for probably less than $50.

That's a 4600 make from bilstein for Tundra specs, commonly used on the TRD model. They are great if you're going from the black shocks which are the intro models. These do good for a level kit. Provided that they have a low amount of miles on em. However, the lower shaft doesn't like hard impacts so if you try to get Air McNair with em you're gonna break em! But yes, for a roadie they're great. BTW, you are spot on for installation bud.

They look pretty clean and if they truly only have 100 miles on them, I'd say $100 is a fair offer. Maybe $125 max. For not much more you could have them brand new with a warranty.

    .....My man

It will once you put a level kit of some sort on it. There are a ton of level kits you choose from in the 2.5 to 3in range, Pro Comp, Revtek, Fabtech, RCX, etc. For instance the EXP65225 kit is a 2.5 level system and the EXP65225K Nitro kit which is a 3/1

I know this probably isn't what you wanted to hear but...

The shocks alone won't level the front end because they aren't adjustable like the Bilstein 5100's.

Might should have just saved up a little more for those if you wanted to level the truck as well. All these are gonna do is provide a slightly better ride than what you currently have, not sure how noticeable it will be.

Idk if it's really worth paying someone to install them unless you buy some sort of leveling kit to go with it, and at that point you would have spent less $$ and had a better ride/functionality by going with the 5100's.

At least you got a good deal on em!

@ToyotaTundraMike I was not looking to level it , just curious if it would do that . I might do it at the same time and get more bang for my buck on install cost. @Hattori I don't want to lift it too much as I am going to keep stock size tires on it . Thanks again guys .

1496115363821.jpgi it sits fairly level as it is (not the best pic to show that) and it just going to make the tires look smaller with more space in the wheel well is my thought. Every time I look at it I think its fine as it is .

So here's the scoop, we used to stay in Nashville East. Hermitage to be exact. When I was doing my forum avatar I got the logistics wrong so I'm actually in Dallas right now but we're moving back to Nashville in 2018-2019. Probably Ashland City or Mt. Juliet. We need land!
