I am trying to get my bed liner looking good again. I have a few scratches but mostly I have white paint transfer from sliding appliances in and out.
    So far I have tried
    1. Dawn & and an aggressive brush. It gets the stains clean
    2. Purple Power & aggressive brush. I sprayed it on full strength, misted it a bit to get a foaming kinda action. Brushed it with a broom, and rinsed with a jet nozzle.
I still have rust colored shyt from a water heater and some white paint embedded into the texture. How can I get that off? Is there a chem I should be using? A more aggressive brush? Keep repeating until it just works?
In getting very annoyed, I mightve even screwed up my bedside paint with the damn hose rubbing on it!!
    Help a brotha out

Fuel delete mod Cup holder upgrade
Try Iron-X or a similar product for the rusty water residue. The foam will turn deep purple to pink when it reacts with iron. You'll probably need a lot of applications if its a lot of residue.

Prevent it to begin with. Add a rubber mat or similar to protect the bed liner. I use a stall mat, but my truck has bedside boxes, which means the fit is ideal. I have a stainless full tailgate protector as well with a black angle iron cap to finish it off.

Is this a plastic bed liner or a spray on bed liner? Pics of the bed side would help as well

    My Line-X has no issues.

I put rocks, gravel (10+ yards last year), patio stones, camping gear in it weekly (spring, summer, fall) and it still looks like new.

If it did get marked up....who cares. It's a truck bed and the liner is doings it's job.

Youd care if the rest of your truck cleaned up to perfection but you had to see ugly ass white scratches on what should be dark black. That bugs me like the chrome on the dash bugs everyone else.

I get it, my factory bedliner came with a cleaning product, never bothered to use it so I can't vouch. Have you tried pressure washing them with a turbo nozzle?

My next move is the paint thinner, im just a lil worried how it will affect the liner... Probably not any worse than that purple power crap tho.

Toyota dealers included some stuff in a white bottle called Bed or Bedliner Conditioner. Stuff does an amazing job to keep a liner in good shape. I use it on my hood bulge and surround and they both still look good after 3 years.

A little more progress. I used lacquer thinner on the paint and got alot of it. Then I used undiluted purple power and an aggressive ass brush on the front and sides.
