With as many new Tundra owners as we are seeing that traded up from their Tacoma let's get a thread going that expresses our appreciation to make the new decision makers feel comfy after taking the leap. Yes, there are many advantages to owning a Tacoma too, so let's keep the positivity rolling for both models. No complaining...just appreciation for our decision to "upgrade."

I love Tacomas for many reasons, but adore my Tundra for the reasons listed below
    • Power
    • Lack of shifting
    • Bed space (double cab for me)
    • Cab space
    • IMO the size looks more intimidating
    • More bang for my buck

All of the above for not much loss of MPGs. But did love the size of the Taco for off-roading. And rear lockers on the Taco too. Do miss the power plug in the bed of my Taco.

I probably will not do rear lockers on the Tundra but will have bed plugs sooner than later...but definitely later

Everything about my tundra makes me realize how much I love it more than the Tacoma. I see new tacomas and I realize how small it was and how small the cabin size is. Shifting though for me with the tundra is a big one as the newer model Tacoma i had, had a hard time with that.

    I had a Taco '98.

The things I LOVE about my Tundra:
    POWER!
Cab size (I'm 6'2, it's nice to spread out)
    Bed size
    Towing capacity
The technology! (XM, GPS, EnTune, bumper radar/sensors, USB port, multiple power ports)
    Locking tailgate
    The under seat storage
    The upgrade and modification options
As much as the lights suck on the Tundra they're still better than my old Taco
    Back up camera
    HUGE center console

Things I miss about my Taco:
    Easy parking
More offroadable, especially with a Camburg LT kit and 33" BFG A/T
    Park it in my garage
I didn't care what happened to it as it was 18 years old when I traded it in

It has way more braaaaap than the taco.

    Ladies love it.

    Resale value is amazing.

It looks fuller than a Taco

I actually fit my tall ass in the damn thing.

Bench seat up front allows for dogs to sit shotgun if I need a ride along buddy.

Having a 5.7 badge is cool.

Not hard to make it stand out from the 10000s of other trucks.
