I was looking into some new headlights and thinking about the alpha Rex pros but I’d be into them at about $500-600 after adding either HIDs or LEDs. These don’t seem like much more

So has anyone tried these headlights out on their tundra? I like the idea of the 2018 sequoia lights but not the price! These seems to come with everything needed for like $700 (including the filler pieces and no additional harness required to work). I tried searching for any existing topics on these specifically and didn’t see any so if there is one already sorry about the repeat post and please point me in the right direction, thanks.

    Pretty cool looking option.

They need to add some motors for the headlight levelers... And then comp me a set for thorough testing and opinion spewing.

Well I ended up pulling the trigger on them and ordering them. Will have to get better pics tom because it got dark on me. Need to get the trim pieces painted because they come black, which is why I don’t have them installed yet

The $1000 I saved getting these instead of oem setup allowed me to get my optitron gauges and the bilstein 5100s for my truck

Hopefully they will hold up, but only time will tell. Seem like decent quality for the price

Beam pattern looks alright for sure.

Definitely keep us posted on quality!

VLand has been pushing me advertisements for the past several days. Looks like they have some cool OLED stuff. I hope they choose to pump some quality products out.

Here’s a few more pics. Will eventually be getting new fogs and getting rid of the brush guard.

How bright is the DRL in direct sun? That has been the issue with the cheaper options such as alpha rex. Thanks.

I was hoping you would say that. Can't really see the lights with the brush guard obscuring.

yea I got the brush guard to change the look up some bc I got tired of the plain Jane look. But now with the new facelift she’s gotten I think I’m ready to show it off!

So you're saying I'm not going to receive a comped set?

Maybe they were tired of trying to steal Morimoto market share.?

Means Vland must be busy working on some sweet, OLED taillights for our 2nd Gens since Morimoto has clearly abandoned our platform.

Dropped off the trim pieces for paint yesterday. Hoping to get them by the end of next week. Will take some new pics once I have them back and installed to show the truly finished product!

I did see a new sequoia behind me today and their drls did not appear any brighter than these. Would love to be able to have a side by side comparison though

I bought a cheap set off eBay for like $125 when I bought my truck 7 years ago and replaced them last year d/t yellowing with another $125 set. Never any issues with moisture

I’m hoping to get the same kind of performance out of these. I actually chose these over the Alpha Rex style lights due to some people complaining of moisture issues after installing HIDs (which is what I had planned to do).
