I think because if you’re stock height or barely lifted like 1” and want a vehicle that feels more stuck to ground during power delivery it could be a fun feeling. But at the end of the day I think many people lift or plan of lifting their truck enough to not have a sway bar.

also another member mentioned that the increased throttle response helps his truck feel less sluggish now that it is lifted and has larger tires. But if you can slap a sway bar on there... why not?

I should have added an emoji as I can see I wasn't clear with what I wrote. I have read quite a bit about the PC and it appears to be a solid performance enhancement...!

I tried ECO +4 today cruising around, its not too bad getting around. Its a setting I could live with on a daily basis. ECO -4 is a NoGo for my needs however. As far as gas savings its something that would need to be tested long term.

I just got around to installing the Sprint booster. I paid $232 total for it. And like everyone else who bought this or the Pedal Commander, I'm loving it. Totally changes the feel of the truck with the very snappy throttle response. I will experiment and compare the Sprint Booster to the Tundra Tow Haul function and report back.

This controller is detachable, leaving the main device connected to your gas pedal so you don't have anything attached to your dash:

Has a switch to select if you have a manual trans or automatic:

Gets installed inline with the gas pedal circuitry:

You set the mode by pressing the silvery "Sprint" button and the left/right arrow buttons. You can also press the Sprint button to shut the Booster off, restoring the truck to original:

Right! It came shipped on "Race 5" mode. I had to lower it, kept spinning the tires everytime!

I’m going to sell my pedal commander. I bought it for my 4Runner and loved it. I can’t seem to find a setting I like with it in the Tundra . It’s either too sensitive or too sluggish IMO. I know I’m on the minority on the issue but the tow/haul button satisfies my go fast needs.

Returning mine today. Doesn't seem to be compatible with the 21's or I got a defective unit. Worked ok but had surging on multiple levels. Tried to update it and couldn't because it would only powerup when the engine was running, not under the ACC like it should. I'll wait another year until they get the bugs worked out for the 21's I guess.

Got one for my dad's 19.

He's not a car guy what so ever.

But he had a 2007 5.7 DC limited, and that thing had the most awesome throttle. You would feather it off the line. 1%, 2%,3%,4%,5% .....barely touching the throttle , and you'd get to 40 mph at a nice smooth rate.

Anyone who drove that truck for the first time , would not expect it to have that sharp a throttle, with the torque the motor can make off idle, it would buck and jump.

I'd have to tell everyone to relax, and barely feather it.

The pedal commander on sport 3 feels like what the stock throttle felt like on the 2007.

I just set the pedal commander to that

And tucked it by the pedal, there's a carpet flap by the transmission tunnel.

I just leave it on that one setting , sport 3.

Been working just fine. I'm expecting the pedal commander to hiccup eventually. But it hasn't.

The pedal commander and TRD rear sway bar, made the tundra feel half as big, because of the added agility.

My dad the non car guy, keeps saying how these mods made it so much easier to drive.

I'd recommend those 2 mods to anyone. Toyota should have sold all the tundras like that stock.

I guess they figured if someone wants a rear sway bar, they'll just buy it from them.

    Good mods
