Speaking of the bumper, I still have the 4 led pods and the covers for them. I saw them just the other day.

Upgraded to a interstate AGM battery today, GM diode is ordered. 2018 factory battery lasted as long as expected.

Trash. I have two with condensation in them. They just so happened to be the ones I didn't have covers on and used when my headlights were on.

Yep, that's why they are so cheap costwise. I have the Rigids in mine. The center bar is still the RC though.

How do you have it controlled?
How does the throw compare to high beams?
Do you think there is adequate ventilation?

The harness has 2 switches, one for the backlight and one for the main bar. The throw goes out a pretty good distance.....it will definitely get someone's attention and can also result in receiving the bird lol. :D. Heat does not appear to be an issue.

Good deal that everyone is gonna be ok!

Always a helluva feelin to see your truck tore up like that...then Carfax shows something like structural dmg and trade-in value tanks. Really hits an owner with a 1, 2 punch.

Yes. I replaced them with switches from AOB and then I installed them in front of the console with the 3D printed bezel from @abomb60.

I did some searching on this, I put a Northstar AGM (NSB-AGM27F) in August 2020 and didn't realize the voltage thing until now. I haven't had any issues at all, but is this something I should do still?

The battery list the voltage required , the tundra does not produce that voltage without the mod, after spending the money for a AGM battery a $6 mod to maintain good battery health seemed like a no brainer for me. Lots of good reviews on this forum.

Installed the RAS kit yesterday. Just FYI for anyone who has Toytec shackles like me - you have to remove the leaf from the shackle to fit the RAS hook. IDK why people say it only takes 45 min to install this - it took me 2 hours from start to finish and I am pretty experienced with working on vehicles.

I did remove the wheels and had to disconnect the rear shocks to get enough droop for the RAS hook to fit through the shackle.

Review: I'm always skeptical when people say products offer a very noticeable difference. Sometimes its a placebo effect. Anyways, I could feel a difference especially at low speeds on bumpy/windy roads. The rear end feels more "as one" with the cab. I have not tested it fully loaded but I will in the near future. Before installing the kit, I had 1" rake in the rear using the highest lift setting with the Toytec shackles. I dropped down the lower shackle setting and the RAS kit gave me an additional 3/4" lift. I'm now at 1.25" rake in the rear which I like.

I can't fully recommend the system until I am fully loaded or towing but I am hopeful.

Nope just a simple 5 minute swap, Hooked up my Noco Jump starter to my OBDII port so I kept all my settings in the truck while I did the swap!

I literally did the same thing this last weekend...I used my HKB voltage booster and the idiot gauge indicates a higher rate of charge by a hair...I'm happy and its never started this well before either! Ha!

I would love to hear how you hooked up the NOCO Jump Starter to OBDII port so I can do the same and keep all my settings to do battery swap.
