If yes , how do you like it ? Any issue with Toyota safety sense and dynamic radar cruise control ?

Just wondering if you ended up going with this. I am considering this one and wanted to know if there are any issues.

 

I ended up getting a garmin and plug and play usb to mirror to power it , I will send you links when I get home , works perfectly

 

I have it. I like that it looks oem. The app is pretty basic. It doesn’t interfere with any of the oem radar and such. Only real problem was getting it snap into the oem slots but eventually got it.

I have seen this and originally was going to go this route. However, I do like the OEM look of the Fitcamx. Now I'm researching a way to tap into the power that's above the center console to hide the wiring better. Seems like it should be pretty easy to do, but I want to make a plug and play harness and I'm struggling to find the connectors I need. I found half of the puzzle with this https://www.toyotapartsdeal.com/oem/toyota~housing~connector~f~90980-12370.html. Now I need the other end to make the harness. I haven't found a good part number for that, yet.

 

Did you use the dongar to the back of the mirror and leave the one connector empty? Don't need to mess with the headliner right?

 

Dongar will plug directly to mirror ,plug and play no need to do anything , you will have an available usb plug to power garmin , I can’t see it is there , I am happy I went with it

Is this a Chinese spyware?

 

I use this same setup with a different Garmin cam. It works well.
