If you look again, that's actually a 38-footer. I've already looked at dozens of bumper pulls and am thinking something more along these lines-

When it comes to bumper pulls, that's the sort of thing I'm looking at. Now that I know about the Automated Safety Hitch, I've started looking at 5th wheels. If I can find the right 5W, then that's the route I'll go. If not, then I'll do something along the lines of that Sandstorm or possibly a similar Eclipse. This is going to be a snowbird rig so it's all about getting the maximum livability, while still a toyhauler, while also towable with my Tundra.

Taking off in the morning with this bad boy. I'll get some better pics tomorrow. This is my friends boat and I'm hauling it to the river for them. I've been in riding and wrenching on this boat since I was probably eight years old. And we're all getting together for another river trip. I just went through all the wiring recently and got all the lights, bilge and mechanicals working. New exhaust flex hoses (a real bitch) and a new intake and carb. We'll see how this old 302 runs tomorrow!IMG_2944.jpg IMG_2943.jpg IMG_2946.jpg

Went camping this weekend with the wife and the dogs defiantly need airbags. The boat is heavy alone without everything in the truck.

Tow this 30' wide body trailer for my church. Weighs in at just shy of 9300lbs. The weight distribution hitch is a life saver. Truck only squats 2" with it, W/O it I'm almost on the bump stops. As far as how she tows.. Its fine around town with speeds up to 60 but would not want to take this trailer on the highway or a long trip. I definitely know its behind me.

I'm towing a 7700lb 30 ft travel trailer and with the hills we have in Alabama and Tennessee
The engine at times struggles. Wish there was a way I could inexpensively increase towing torque to deal with our hills.

Back on my first gen I had a cold air intake that definitely helped with towing, with the stock intake the truck was definitely more sluggish especially going up hills. It was the only time I ever notice a real performance boost from a CAI. I DO NOT have one for my 2014 and have no plans for getting one. The CAI killed the fuel mileage on my first gen.

What is your idea of inexpensive?

You can really open up the Tundra with headers and a proper exhaust from @dirtydeeds. Nobody has more dyno time and testing exhaust systems than Keith on Tundra motors.

Plenty planned thanks to all of you.
I pull a Palomino Solaire (Ultralight) and have found it to be a great tow-behind. I do run a weight-distribution set-up which makes things even easier across Eastern and Central PA as well as Southern NY. We're heading upstate (NY) next weekend, but I've yet to pull against something that the Tundra can't tow so I'm confident that we won't experience any issues.

Just picked this up and then traveled 350miles with it. Weighs 2080lbs empty, truck pulled it very well and I averaged 16mpg pulling it in the highway at 70-75mph at times and stop and go traffic here and there. I used tow haul for most the trip which is great for accelerating but once I'm up to speed and cruising I like it w/o tow haul. It seems to hold speed better without dropping a gear which it's quick to do in tow haul.

That integrated trailer brake, I get hardly any braking until I set the gain over 5 and it has to be on 10 before it starts to really slow the truck, it never licks the trailer wheels. Is this how it's supposed to work? This is my first trailer with brakes and first integrated brake controller so I don't really know what to expect.20170701_174232.jpg

Even though it was a light load, keep in mind you're not supposed to tow within the first 500 miles. Gotta let the rear diff break in. Truck is awesome though!
