New Morimoto 14-21 Tundra Taillights have FINALLY arrived!

I know, I know... it's been quite a few months since we last talked about these tails. But they are finally here and I'm excited to share them with you guys!

The Tundra is one truck with some of the most hardcore following in the aftermarket. And while there is no shortage of aftermarket parts for the Tundra, until now, there has been few options for a solid taillight upgrade... At least for those who actually care about what goes on their truck. The Morimoto XB LED taillights for the 14+ Toyota Tundra are the category killer we've all been waiting for.

These will be compatible with all versions of the Toyota Tundra from 2014 on up, they are extremely easy to install. These plug and play with the factory wiring harness, use all of the stock mounting points, and should not take more than 15-20 minutes to install both taillights.



Inspired by the design of more modern OEM tail lights from Toyota / Lexus, these look at-home on the rear-end of the third gen Tundra. The prominent light blades are illuminated from the rear with integrated TIR optics, and serve the brake light, parking light, and turn signal. Even though the optics are molded from red polycarbonate, they still illuminate in amber for the turn signal, giving them a unique look. Pair that with the surrounding muscular trim, optional clear or red outer lens, and we've easily got what is the best-looking set of Tundra tails on the trail.



The Amber LED turn signal can be setup according to preference as a reverse sequential or a more conventional on/off setup. Deciding which path to take is easy, since its only a matter of changing a plug on the back of each taillight. No modifications required, everything will plug n play with the factory wiring without any concerns of hyper flashing.

The reverse lights are often over-looked when it comes to taillights, but that is not the case here! The Morimoto XB Tails for the Tundra have a full LED reverse light integrated. With eight LEDs dumping light into the reflector-based optic, its safe to say these will outshine most factory headlights, but in reverse. They are extremely effective.

Ha....I told you guys months ago the Morimoto told me that they are the same design as the Tacos.

The sequential is definitely my favorite out of all the after market sequential options Ive seen.

Morimoto likely won't have a smoked lens option available due to DOT concerns. However if you do like the smoked look, we suggest using the Lamin-X tinted sheets as an overlay. Not only will it protect your taillights but you will also achieve the tinted look without making it permanent.

We have the website data ready to go and will make the reds available in the upcoming weeks(no exact date at this moment). I will make sure to update this thread as soon as they are available for pre-order on our website.

As of right now within the upcoming months we don't anticipate anything new for the 2nd gens. However, Morimoto is working on expanding their taillight lineup as well as GTR Lighting with their Carbide LED series. They both have plenty new products coming this year for many different models so give them a follow if you want to see updates on new releases.
