I was researching an electrical issue on a thread (cannot find the original post I was reading), but someone offered up the idea of upgrading the "big three" (positive alternator cable, negative battery cable, and chassis ground cable). They were saying in general it is beneficial to the trucks electrical system. Most info I have found is that this is a must when upgrading the sound system (which I am not doing). Is it worthwhile to do even if I am not upgrading my audio if I have the time and money?

If you dont have a large electrical draw, then there's no point.
I'm running about 1800w rms in my stereo and haven't upgraded the Big 3. I just threw a northstar battery in there and its good to go.
