Bought a 4Runner last fall and got new wheels for it. Put the stock ones on the Tundra.

I bought general springs for new leafs. Good price compared to orders. And great customer service. So far happy I did.

Can't remember the exact size. Got them from a friend who worked at Michelin for cheap. 285 something lol. I wound up selling them and swapping over the wheels and tires from my 4runner.

And your lift was budget-ish lift? 2-2.5" I'm told and what about 650 vs 700 lb coils?

After much searching I finally found a first generation RCLB. 2003, silver SR5, 128k. The frame is in great shape (which compared to other components underneath leads me to believe it has been replaced)...receiver hitch already gone and is coming out and my shop guy says that the rear differential has been patched with jb weld and needs to be replaced...what are my options?

Dorman sells replacement covers for the diffs, but they need to be welded on after the old one is cut off

Go to toyota.com/owners and make an account and put in your VIN and it will show you any prior work done at a dealership. It will give you dates of frame replacement.
As for rear diff. Most thorough way for repair is to replace the whole axle housing with all new parts. Should be around $1500-$2000 if you do most work on your own. Or find used axle that isn't rusted. Hopfully cutting off old diff cover and re welding with new will work for you and save you a few bucks.

I have been looking for that exact canopy. We have the same truck - mine: 2003, silver SR5, 142k, 4wd v8. Any chance you're on the west coast and want to sell the canopy?

All these regular cab long beds look friggin' sweet. But I just barely prefer my access cab for the little bit of extra storage space it provides. That being said, I wouldn't kick a RCLB out of the bed for eating crackers.

I wouldn't mind my RCLB 8' bed on an access cab or double cab. I know it would be a long truck, but so functional.

I take it you purchased the red truck with the nerf bar already installed. Looking for a set (the better half is 'vertically challenged') and am at my wits-end trying to find them :annoyed:

Yes and then it did not take long for them to rust off too!

Good Luck in the search though.

Howdy guys, sweet rigs. I just found this forum but I’m wondering if anyone else has put a camper on their RCLB? I want to tie those hoop mounts on each corner of the camper down to the bed but the way it sits I would be scratching up the bed.
Is there a better way to attach these? I was thinking of making a plate that fits into the stake bed inserts so the chains or tensioner would not touch the body.
    Thanks

I would try to just run straps from the u-bolts that I see on the corners to the tie-downs in the bed corners.
That is how these seem to be setup to me?

The rear ones look easy and usually the campers will have little holes in the front down low to access the front tie-downs so that you can reach in there and attach them.

You can also make or buy brackets that do what you said and attach to the bed rail pockets I am sure.

I have the same wheels...have not installed them yet but I was wondering how did they look from the front/back? Did you need to add spacers? Are they tucked inside the fender wells?

Welcome to the forum! Make sure you pop off the timing belt cover and check out its health. You can get away with every 10yr/100k miles, whichever comes 1st, although that's little longer than Toyota recommendation, but ... you're well past that in years, despite being shy on miles.
