Rebuilding a 5.7? Ever done it?

    Leveling kit, cab marker lights, custom entertainment
    Just curious about rebuilding the 5.7. I saw an engine for cheap that had broken valve springs. I'm sure if the valve springs are broken this engine was probably ran long and hard in its short lifetime and probably due a rebuild. I'm curious as to what specialty tools would be needed and if its even recommended?

    I thought I read that there was a TSB on defective valve springs on some 2007s.

    I guess this 1 got away. From my old hot rod days I remember broken valve springs come from my lead foot.

    valve springs are a common things on 5.7s. we see them all the time. around 150k or so..
